I thought the same. I felt horrible for it, but when Bobby said she'd lost 11lbs I did think "From where?!"

Aside from the scenes about Joey and Frankie's mum, it was a bit of a nothing episode for me.

As much as I don't mind Lauren Pope, her and a constantly topless Kirk going round in circles isn't grabbing me. Jasmine and her friend seem nice enough but there's nothing that really endears them to me, Arg is as irritating as ever (fake-flirting with Gemma who's shacked up with someone else in actual fact), Lucy and Mario don't seem to understand how the show works, and don't even get me started on Jasmine's brother...!
Also, in her column every week she says, "I've lost another 3lbs'....next week, 'I've lost 4lbs this week!'
Week after week...but she never ever looks any different!

I thought she was looking much slimmer to be honest.

I agree with the other posters, there is nothing 'grabbing' me either. It is just repeating old shit. Lucy & Mario - everyone knew Lucy was going to take him back. Lauren & Kirk - they aren't ever ever ever getting back together. Jasmine's brother - we've already got Joey.

It's so samey at the moment.

She talks utter sh*te in that appalling column. She will never shift the weight because all she does is stupid quick fixes like bootcamp etc which are unsustainable. She looked like she might have lost a pound max, and that was probably lack of water retention. There's no way she's lost 11lbs and I don't think she ever will.

More Kirk in the gym please *drools* I'm not usually a fan of muscles but those tattoos make him hot

They're very harsh on Diags he seems a laugh and genuinely nice, no need for the bitchiness about his looks.

Glad to see the back of the bores(Mario and Lucy).

I'm really disappointed by this season of TOWIE, I agree that it needs a cast shake up. I know that it has never been 100% true to life but at the moment it is so staged it is even more cringeworthy to watch. The whole shower scene was awful and when they were playing bingo in an almost empty bingo hall was really silly.

Gemma living with Rami and going on about it in her column but it not being mentioned in the show is really odd, particularly with everyone banging on about her and Arg making a good couple and it being made to look like Gemma is interested in Arg...

The whole Bobby "gayby" storyline is ridiculous and I knew he wasn't going to go through with it. Although, I do find Bobby the most entertaining of the bunch to be honest, it is hilarious when he gets cross with someone.

All of the couples are boring now and nothing seems to be happening that we haven't seen before.

I felt quite uncomfortable watching the scenes when Joey was discussing the loss of his Mum, I really felt for him but I think it seemed far to emotional and personal for the tone of the programme and filming Joey and Sam at the graveyard took it a step to far.

Jasmine and her immature, wooden brother need to be axed.

Although I shed a few tears at the scenes about Joey's mum, I did feel it was a bit exploitative and inappropriately sandwiched between party scenes and Gemma's weight loss club.

I think you will find that last year it was Frankie talking about her mum (as sad as it is) with Chloe and Jess(?) If it is that upsetting do not go on camera about it, after all this is all scripted.

Anyone watching tonight? This thread doesn't seem too busy this series.
I usually record and watch the next day. I doubt there are many viewers left tbh. Towie has obviously had it's day. Only us die hard fans left .... I can never decide what it is about Towie that keeps me watching? .... I just enjoy it

For me the issue wasn't with talking about it. I think that's fine. It was the filming at the grave I found a bit too far.

I think I keep watching just to get the full story, having invested the time in it that I have up to now. I am close to giving up, though, especially with all these ridiculous, more-far-fetched-than-ever storylines. They are just desperate now with the sad attempts to keep people interested - at the moment, apart from the exploitative tear-jerking scenes, they seem to have resorted to sex and nudity: gratuitous footage of Kirk in the buff, Kirk and Charlie in the sauna, Lucy stripping down, Joey and Sam in the shower (a direct copy of the opening scene of an episode of Made In Chelsea not so long ago), etc. At least they seem to have given up showing us Arg in any state of undress.

Yes, I do remember.

If they're happy enough being filmed talking about it then that's up to them. I just found editing such emotional scenes into the programme next to more frivilous SLs a bit jarring, same as I did with Frankie last year. That's the nature of the show though.

I miss Maria and Lauren G. Maria caused alot of drama, I think she was the most interesting character.

I'm starting to resent turning something else off to watch Towie now. Thinking this may be my last time watching. It was always crap, but in a good/car crash way. There's just no drama or excitement or genuine humour anymore. It's all to staged, self aware and pr exercises for new/existing 'business' ventures.

I think this will be my last time watching tonight....haven't been enjoying it for a while now, but the past two episodes have been so dull I wasn't really paying attention. TOWIE has had it's odd dull episodes throughout the series but it's never been this consistently boring.

I thought tonight's episode was much better than the recent tripe. More screen time for the older cast members.

I enjoyed it tonight. Bet Mario and Lucy are so angry.

Yawn:yawn: Another boring episode. I am starting to warm back to Gemma this series. I did laugh when she was 'kicked out' and standing there like a 15 year old girl lol!

Bobby has to go. I think he forgets a man..w really he just threatened to assault a women, I don't like that or him. He's so fake.

Love Chloe, Frankie, Lauren & Diags.

Also what is with the copying Made in Chelsea? First the shower scene and now Bobbys 'Grill' comment..
