I really dislike joey, the guillable fool dressed in zany clothes routine was never particularly entertaining, he's also got quite a filthy temper on him and is quick to lose it when things don't go his way.

Ricky is another one who's got anger issues, coupled with dodgy stubble.

I have liked Gemma, not not liked her, then liked ... and so on. But she is just coming off as a bit desperate these days. I dont think she is doing herself any favours. She is not the person she seemed to be at the start of time of TOWIE.

Possibly to do with the fact there was a higher percentage of reality in the earlier eps so she didn't act so much. Also there were actual interesting people back then so she was used in small doses

I find Gemma and Rami quite odd, why is Rami still with her after she left him for Arg? she said they moved in together and are "so happy" but she's miserable on the show and says she has no where to live. Whats going on?

You do realise its pretty much all set-up/scripted now don't you? That's why she's 'playing a character' and not being real ie about Rami

Bobby, Gemma & Charlie - Just don't like Gemma at all. But unless they edited it to make Bobby look bad, he definitely escalated that argument.. Gemma was clearly jealous though by asking them why they were doing party planning etc. What's it got to do with her whether they're qualified or not!? Don't get why Bobby has to throw such hissy fits though, it's pretty embarrassing. I was surprised Charlie sided with Gemma though, it's gone full circle. Never thought that would happen. Charlie & Bobby are fine together when it's just those two.

Gemma & Rami - why did she say 'my boyfriend' instead of mentioning his name.. seemed like she was about to burst out laughing as well. Probably because the papers caught her with him so she had to admit it. Do think it's weird how they've rushed over the detail.. same with the tension with Gemma and her mum

The two new guys - must've been like wtf being in the middle of all that. Being shown the standard of awkward hissy fits they have to live up to if they want to be kept on for the rest of the series

Sam, Frankie and Chloe - What the hell was that all about? I was expecting it to kick off at any minute but it never did.. I don't actually understand why they were acting so cold towards each other when earlier in the episode they were saying that they all got along now :s What's happened? Thought it was a bit bitchy the looks Frankie kept giving, rolling her eyes and talking over Sam every time she tried to join in. Must be awful having your boyfriend's family judging your relationship constantly.. they're getting way too involved and making things hard for Joey. I know they're protective but Joey is 22 or something like that. Reminds me of the way the Wright family made Lauren Goodger feel, constantly breathing down her neck.

^^ Agree about Frankie and Chloe. I really like them but they are very cold towards Sam. Not nice when it is 2 of them against her. It is very similar to Jess & Carol V Lauren (although not as nasty!)

I liked Joey at the end sticking up for Danny. It was very honest. Danny obviously did just try and stand up for his sister even though he was clearly scared.

Joey, Diags and Tom P need to stop acting hard, Tom and Diags are always stirring things, they would never confront Ricky on their own. Why is everyone protecting Danny, what Ricky said was completly right.
Joey needs to be brought down a peg or two, he thinks he owns Essex!

Do they adopt the surname Essex in case they forget where they live......?

And when Danny had a interview with Joey they acted like they didn't know each other, Joey needs to stop getting involved in everyones business.

I looked away for a second and turned back and had no idea what was going on lol. I cannot stand Bobbi, his diva antics are just too much. Everything about the way he acts just comes across as phony. I'm liking Gemma this series, why she continuously winds them up is beyond me. I suppose it has been the only drama in this dull series.

Agree about Gemma and her mum! There is something very off there and I hope we get to know what. Gemma always seems on edge around her and her eyes always water like she's going to cry as well, very odd. I don't believe the falling out they had was about the bed, I think it was definitely to do with what Gemma said at the bingo.

I know, how odd! I didn't think it was Frankie talking over it and rolling her eyes, it was Chloe. It was rude..but all I can say is Karma has bit Sam in the ass over how her and Jess treated Jasmine so I have no sympathy whatsoever. The scene seemed a bit scripted to me, especially after the excited build up. Completely agree about the Lauren situation being the same.

Something really needs to happen, this is just so stale and painful to watch, even though I can't turn off.

Sometimes I think the way the cast look at each other is set up, like Arg looking jelous about Gemma and Rami getting back together, and the looks Gemma and Joan gave each other aswell, its a bit falsed.

On a very trivial note, I only just realised that the caption no longer calls Lauren 'Popey'. Has that been the case for a while or only since the other Lauren left?

I don't have much to say about this episode. It was just more of the same in regard to Gemma/Bobby, all getting rather boring now.

Re BIB: Just noticed, not only are Gemma Collins and Billie Faiers wearing exactly the same outfits/hairstyles etc in both the link above (DM 18/3) and the one below (DM 21/3), but Gemma also appears to have lost Rami somewhere between the car park and the bar ~ how very careless! Or maybe the producers made him wait outside with a bottle of pop and a bag of crisps during the filming of the latest 'altercation' between Gemma and Bobby so they can keep the Gemma and Arg 'will they/won't they?' storyline going?

This show is now so blatantly contrived it's a total farce!

Towie's weird like that. For some character's they set it up they other characters never knew them before. But most of the characters there now went to the same school.

In fact, Diags, tom p, joey, Ricky, Jasmin etc all were in the same year group i think.

That oiled-up guy in the gym just reeks of massive ego. And the guy that was with him does not give me good signs of the direction of the show. They come across as meat heads who will contribute very little to the show.

The show isnt what it once was. Originally it was fun, you understand the dislikes and cared for the characters. They havent found characters that are that engaging where you care for them. They all know its reality TV and to hog the limlight a la Lauren Goodger, you need to act to the camera. Jasmin and Abi are two culrpits of this , so fake!

I do think its suffered due to the rise of Geordie Shore which is way better now

Geordie Shore is completely different though.

Geordie Shore is more like Jersey Shore/Big Brother. The scenes are real. Clubs scenes are real. The cast are seen to be drunk. None of that happens in TOWIE.

TOWIE has always reminded me of The Hills in terms of production.
