I am trying very hard to remember the faces of Michael and Candy. I do remember a guy in the titles who I don't think was in the show (I only remember because he looked like someone I know). Maybe I will find them if I Google?

As for Jasmin, it's interesting what you say as I definitely thought she was familiar when she turned up for a date with Arg.

Not quite the same but in like series 3 when they started using scripts more than not Kirk broke it to call Maria an extra it was pretty funny at the time.

From Shakespeare to EastEnders, humans are interested in other humans' relationships more so than places and events.

The first season of TOWIE had precious few cast members, but the Mark/Lauren G relationship was the thread that connected most segments. Throw in Sam making advances toward Mark, Lucy as the bit on the side and you had some drama.

The producers don't have any real relationships to focus on (and the ones shown are mostly stable), only contrivances and scripted arguments, which is why the show has gone flat.

I admit I still enjoy it cos I know most of the cast over a period of time but it's really getting forced and awkward.

Do you have a source? Would be sad if she left, always saw her as an 'earth mother' kind of person, without being hippy. She always speaks sense and says what is what and has never been two faced as far as I have seen.

aww I always liked Debbie ... & I miss lovely Lydia too, but don't blame her for leaving. This show don't half interfere with ones love life

I was just remembering another one who only appeared in a few episodes early on. Someone's sister - could have been Lauren G's? Mick took a fancy to her and got chatting to her at one of the parties in the days when Gemma thought she was in with a chance with Mick.
