What I don't understand about former couples on the show is if they were genuinely together and it wasn't just for TV, why would they want to film set-up crying scenes and screaming matches together? You'd think that the pain would still be raw and they might not want to be around each other.

Ye I don't really get it either though Sam/Joey aren't really ever in scenes together now. Mario/Lucy are a weird duo who would appear to do everything for camera time so I guess that's why they are fine with having to talk to each other

Lucy has only spoken to Mario twice this series and thats because he has come up to her.
Joey and Sam have been in alot of scenes this series.

I'm really enjoying this series. Focussing on the good characters has really paid off, Jess, Lucy, Sam, Joey and Chloe can really carry the show so much better than faux Arg/Gemma romance or anything involving Jasmin and her family.

This has probably been my favourite series of the last 3 or 4 I reckon.

I think they are just a really close family, and Chloe knows more than we are being lead to believe on the show.

I was swaying over whether she was getting too involved or not, when they were in Marbs, but when she said that she doesn't know anyone who has a single bad word to say about Joey, except for Sam, it did make me think she was right. They did seem to fight all the time. It's a shame and I wish they could get back together, but I think there's a lot more gone on than we've been led to believe on screen.

I'd like to see Lucy get a new love interest, not least because it would wind Mario right up.

I think Chloe's name came to the top of the pile at the Job Centre and they decided to send her on one of those 'welfare to work' schemes! Hence no need for much of a CV, given not much of an interview, the employer is taking on a numbskull and gets good PR. She got caught last night making a personal call instead of working. Any bets that next week she will be telling everyone she has been fired or 'I left, gels, because they didn't treat me wiv respect'/

At least Fearne seems to be a reasonable person. How does she puts up with the Essex family shouting her down and putting her down all the time? Nothing she does is right for them. They expect total submission from her. Chloe, Charles and Joey have had more than their say. They shout, rant, attack and degrade anyone who dares to to do or say anything they don't like. When Fearne tries to have her say they totally brow-beat her with insults. Chloe, Charlie and Joey and are a bunch of big-mouthed bullies.

In comparison to Joey Essex and his gang of family bullies, Fearne, Sam and Billie have done nothing.

Abi & Jasmin are just a bore and will go out with anyone and do anything to stay on the show.
