Great posts today by everyone especially Nimz, Old Girl, and Pringles...your last line was sad, but true.
First off I just want to say that anyone who feels the need to talk about Luke's looks, 1. obviously has no respect for Josie, let alone appreciation, and 2. is showing their own character. Because basing judgement on a person's character or worth by their looks is idiotic.
Also, I think people misunderstand Josie's honesty. She tells it like it is: the good, the bad, and the ugly. Hello...lice anyone?

Anyone who cheers or celebrates her heartbreak or upset really needs to have a few words with themselves. Because if you appreciate, hell, if you even just respect someone, you don't want that for them.
Great points about Luke's maturity in the relationship and life. Sure he acts like a young guy. He's 20 something. But the work ethic, supportiveness, and committment he's shown to Josie has been big. He's moved his life to Bristol to be with her. And it's not like he was just sitting at home doing nothing. He left his life and business so he can be with Josie. THAT is committment. That shows you are in it for the long haul.
And he's actually WITH her. He makes the effort to take her out, they go dancing together, they go to parties together, they go to charity events together, he's been to her filming several things together, they watch TV, they spend time with the dog. They hang out with her friends and family...together. He supports her in what she does...not competes against her. As you do in a healthy relationship.
My favorite thing about Luke has been the way he's been supportive of Josie during some of her hardest public days. Arguments on twitter and also insults from idiotic eggs (qwerty) don't get him riled. He showed her support. He backed her up. He showed her he cares about HER in those situations. Which really, is all a girl wants.
I'm glad Josie's found a man who wants to be her partner. Who cares about her. And who wants to be part of her life. Who knows what will happen, no relationship is perfect, but it's nice to see her happy and with someone who treats her with the love and respect she deserves.
BTW, Romeo and Juliet the best love story of all time? They kill themselves. That's not considered a success to me.
