Am I missing something, or is Corrie not available on the iPad version of the ITV player?

Just had a look myself and Corrie is there. I went through the A-Z listings to get it but it's also on the 'ITV1' catagory too

I'm wondering if its using IP info to know that I'm in Scotland - ITV1 isn't listed at all, so maybe its part of the ITV / STV dispute, and ITV1 content isn't available in Scotland?

That's very interesting. I'm currently cycling Lands End to John O'Groats and keeping up with Corrie on my iPad. However, tomorrow I enter Scotland ! I will have to find a work around (I can remote login to my MacBook at home, run UKNOVA to download it and move it to my Dropbox which I can then play on my iPad).

Just pop in a London postcode and it works fine. That's what I did.

SW19 5AE comes to mind.

It will base it on your postcode not where you are

Something that annoys me is that iPlayer and ITV Player are restricted to wifi only. I quite often have a better 3G speed than wifi.

have you tried using TVCatchup it also lets you watch the content like films which are not available on BBC and Iplayer .

I use TVCatchup from time to time but it only does live TV (which is a bit of a misnomer) so not much use to me.

It uses location services or if these are switched off asks for the postcode.

If you can't get it working OP, use stv.tv/player. You can skip through the ads too.
