I feel sad that kieron isn't in Later but I think it could be worse if he was in it withouth having to interact with brendan, maybe in Later something happens to brendan and that will help him to realize he needs to change.
I'm glad they want to abandon "week storylines" but now I fear we will have stug until the end of the year. like some of you said if we have to believe ste still loves brendan then they have to give something to us even if he is with stug, maybe dream sequences or whatever (I know it's wishful thinking)

Oh it was great. Going to very much be a love or hate thing, mind you. Very, very dark, but also disturbingly funny. Even moments which shouldn't really be.

Emmett was amazing though, I can't stress that enough. I completely forgot Brendan existed. One scene, in particular, the stand-up scene, is amazing.

I can see it now. Doug will buy him and Ste matching reindeer jumpers and Ste will have an epithany, he doesn't even like knitwear! Cue Doug!Tears and Ethan's timely return and Ste running out into the cold snow looking for Brendan who's been messed up down to something Walker has done. Ste finds him lying bleeding on the ground, he scoops him into his arms, mistletoe sparkling overheard.

"Stephen...oi love ye. That jumper is appalling though" in his raspy voice.

"You'd better take it off then" Ste chimes, donkey laugh vibrating throughout the village.

And then they kiss sweetly, and then get a bit too handsy and Brendan finds the strength to stand and Ste throws his arm around his waist and half carries him home with his new lovely arms.
