I understand that she's celebrating 25 years in music but can't really see the point of this. Surely anyone who really ever wanted a Kylie compilation already has 'Ultimate'.

And how dare they choose Tears on my Pillow over What Do I Have to Do!!!!!

Artwork is cute and amusing though.

I agree, nice cover but I for one won't be buying it. No point really, I've already got Ultimate Kylie.

Also, as she's celebrating 25 in the business, wouldn't it make sense to have 25 tracks on the album???

ANOTHER greatest hits from Kylie? why?!?! ok I get the whole 25 years thing, but isnt that why she's doing the K25 reworked album later this year?

Chosen by the fans my arse! Half of these tracks wouldn't have even made the cut if that was case. I truly wish "Kids" would just go and die.

This collection is obviously being released to coincide with her Jubilee appearance. Thing is, Kylie doesn't actually have a readily available greatest hits collection on sale in the shops that combines her hits from PWL, Deconstruction and Parlophone. "Ultimate Kylie" was deleted due to Parlophone only having the rights to her PWL and Deconstruction material for a certain period of time. The only collections that are available in places like HMV are the cheap Deconstruction ones. It's about time Kylie got a decent greatest hits collection that represents her whole career and not just parts of it. I guess the casual Kylie fan will be happy with this new "Best of" as that's who it's most likely going to appeal to.

Anyway, there's plenty more surprises to come from Kylie this year so I'm not too bothered.

Kids. No, no, no!

I am glad she's been generous with Aphrodite and X tracks.

That's precisely what I thought should give an insight into what tracks she will sing. Terrible tracklisting. Not even all here number ones are featured. So odd to have tears on my pillow and not hand on your heart,

Its a great cover but odd selection. For one only 21 tracks? 25 would have made more sense.

Secondly, 13 of the 21 songs are all from the 00s !!!

I must be the only person in the world to enjoy Kids. It was played in the cinema the other night and I was reminded of how much I enjoy it.

Kids is a great song but it doesn't belong on a compilations that only had "selected" tracks on it.
There's far better choices than that.

Which is why they should have just released a best of featuring her Parlophone hits. It would make sense since, like you've mentioned, most of the songs on this new compilation are from that era anyway.

I absolutely love the cover, but the content is a bit of a waste. I'd have thought the would have released a b-sides album or something. The whole point of this year (i thought) was to give something back to the fans. The anti-tour was a brilliant idea. But i'm just not sure who this is aimed at.

A singles box is what she should be doing. Oooh imagine that.

This will be good for me personally as I only like her singles and never really like many of her albums. But annoyed the likes of 2 Hearts, The One, Finer Feelings and Got to be certain have been missed out. There should be a deluxe edition with more songs as well as a standard. Like what Madonna did.

May buy this as Ultimate Kylie is spread over 2 discs which I don't always have time to play and doesn't include later tracks.

Cover - love the jacket and badges, but her face is so unflattering.

Song Choice - generic and lacking any new releases.

How can a list of her hits be considered "Generic"

I guess by generic, I mean predictable choices. I already have two Kylie GHs and I actually prefer them. I was hoping for a double anti tour cd with remastered versions, some new remixes, a few new tracks and a bonus orchestral/stripped back track list. I have all these songs on the new GH.

Really disappointed, we don't need another GH yet! If it had 3/4 new tracks then fair enough but since she's only done 2 albums since then and that only adds a few singles, I shan't be buying, since I already have Ultimate Kylie and have since bought Aphrodite and X.

I like the fan chosen tracklist idea though, to end on a slight positive.

agree with the comments about another greatest hits and the bizarre track list. I actually like Tears On My Pillow but even I think What Do I Have To Do deserves to be on it more

I do however love the cover and would like most of those badges

Disappointing, I agree. A b-sides and rare demos collection would be much better, imo. Or a COMPLETE singles compilation. Even 'Ultimate Kylie' (and Madonna's aforementioned 'Celebration') left off tons of hit singles from across the years!

It looks like one of those free newspaper CDs. Is the person on the sleeve actually Kylie? It all looks very cheap and low rent.

The lips and the teeth are definitely Kylie. She looks almost mannequin like. I wasn't sure whether it was her at first but apparently it is from what I've read.

Yep it's her, the pic is from this photoshoot http://www.stylist.co.uk/fashion/the...-fashion-shoot

although i've just learned that wasn't her in the other greatest hits from a few years ago!
