Tivo to Panasonic
Hi everyone i am in the process of either staying with Sky or changing to Virgin Media,How can i take a HD Recording from the Tivo to a Panasonic BWT700 Blu Ray Recorder. The Tivo has 1 HDMI OUT and 2 Scart out ,But the Panasonic has Scart Imputs and an HDMI output.I know the Panasonic has 2 Freeview Tuners but Eurosport HD is not on Freeview.Eurosport HD would be the only channel i would be interested in watching ,As i dont watch Soaps or Football,Any help would be great.Cheers Francis

Just connect a scart cable from the Tivo to the recorder and select that as the recording input. You can only record in SD though not in the original HD quality.

Hi Graham thanks for the info so far,I knew about using the scart lead to record from Tivo to DvD in SD. I was hoping that there is some way to transfer H D from the Tivo to Blu Ray but this does not seem possible. If i took the H D recording to the Panasonic BWT700 via the scart and recorded onto a Blu Ray Disc in the Highest setting would it output any better than S D or would i be better saving money and just record to DvD.Thanks for your advise so far.I would want to archive the H D Recordings onto Blu Ray if possible.Cheers Francis

if you can , record in RGB through the Scart
it should record in a fairly acceptable picture |
