Elaine as you know last week I did opt to send you home rather than Thomas, but you managed to scrape through based on the public vote. Tonight Elaine I have to be honest and say I thought that was one of your worst performances. I’m so sorry Elaine but I just didn’t feel as though it was up to the standard of the other contestants. I wish your mentor had went more towards the style of your first performance but obviously I understand he may have had a lot of limitations based on the theme. Something tells me you may find yourself in trouble again tonight.

Elaine, this is definitely an unpredictable choice for you as Paloma Faith is definitely not an artist who I would usually associate with you, however I don't want to just give you Jennifer Hudson songs every week and I wanted to try something a little different and I thought this was an amazing performance! It was definitely very different to anything you'd done before but this song enabled you to bring out the best of your vocal ability whilst having a good time on the stage aswell, I absolutely love Paloma and you did her justice, well done Elaine!

Elaine, I'm so glad you were saved last week because I know you would try to come back and fight to stay in this competition. Tonight, this was a very different direction you took and I was impressed that it was this song. But however, it wasn't really a really good performance to come back on. I think you're gonna be in trouble again tonight, maybe you're not, who knows.

You've really disappointed me Elaine! There must be something in the air tonight for the ladies (excl. the groups) because you all seem to have done an awful job. I thought this performance was very uninspiring and definitely your worst yet. I was really upset to see you in the bottom 2 last week, however, if you're there this week don't expect any sympathy from me.

Not a good night for the overs I was just trying to do something a bit different with Elaine tbh as I don't just want to give her a Jennifer Hudson song every week, probably would have been better if Thomas was saved as there is more I could have done with him

I understand where you were coming from saying that you dont wanna give her Jennifer Hudson songs each week, but I feel that as she feel into the bottom 2 last week you should have given her that style of song again to get the public support before trying to take such a huge risk with her.

Hey Atle, I wasn't as convinced as the other judges about your performance last week however I've got to say I loved this one, I like that your mentor is turning you into a real hard rock artist as it brings something different to the competition and really works well for you, your vocals were great and the whole performance was faultless for me. You come out here each week and I am blown away by your performances. I am hoping that if you get through to the next show we could try something a little bit different maybe not as hard rock but still in-keeping with your style.

Sometimes the other judges have a few issues with you but I have always loved your performances and can't wait to see what you do next!

Well Atle, just when I think I have a clear mind of what you're gonna do each week, you continue to surprise me. The song was lively, it was rocky and I will give credit where it's due for the choice. Your mentor is doing a fantastic job with you, I think you could upset the competition if you keep this up. Alityan I thought this was another great performance from you! I think the Civil Wars are a really good match for you however I don't think any of the songs from their catalogue would have fit this theme, so I'm glad I found this cover as I think Billie Jean fits it perfectly! I think the male vocals in this cover really fit you well and it also enabled you to hit the big notes, I really like the direction I am taking you in Altiyan even if I say so myself and I hope the voters agree and keep you in!

Aliyan, that was a nice performance from you tonight. I felt as though you were definitely the strongest from the Overs tonight. I think you have a really interesting voice and your mentor up to this point has picked good songs for you but I wish you would have picked a stronger version of that song.
