Well done Tulisa!
UK #1 - it's official! So pleased for her, especially since it isn't off the back of an X-Factor performance nor the upcoming BGT one tonight. Ironic how her and Dappy have both scored #1 hits as solo artists while as a group N-Dubz have only ever had 3 top ten hits, and never really translated into full scale commerical success like their solo careers have.

Well done for what? Being an attention-seeking fame whore, exploiting every ounce of publicity she can get, culminating in releasing a generic 'dance' song to pander to the chart-buying kids who are obsessed with her now that the X Factor has turned her into a household name?
Yeah, what an achievement - she must've worked so hard for it Anyone with a brain could see that she was obviously going to be #1 this week - it's how the charts work |

Wasn't she voted as the sexist woman in the world for something a while ago?

I'd say well done, but the song "Young" is quite bloody dreadful. An utter shambolic mess of a track.

I think that Young song is the worst song I have heard in a VERY long time, it's 3 minutes or however long of just shouting and screeching, especially in the chorus! She's the definition of fame whore.
Plus, I thought it was originally called We Are Young, was it changed because of the far superior We Are Young song by fun.? |

Not even written by her...
It was by Peter Ibsen, Ali Tennant, and Tulisa's former boyfriend Fazer. So all she had to do was turn up in a studio and regardless of how she might sound, they can adjust the sound of her vocals and sit in front of a camera for the photo cover and smile. Yep, well done her. |

She was horrendous on BGT tonight. She may have an OK voice but she cannot sing live and dance at all she was just dire. Strained and out of tune. Her song is OK but she is a disgraceful performer...behind the make-up there's very little talent there...dreadful dancer and abysmal performer.

Couldn't agree more then you have artists who have written their own music like Marina again stall outside the top 10 perhaps if she sat on Simon cowells lap did a sex tape and generally do very little of what actually constitutes making music then the same result might just happen i mean we've seen all this before Cheryl Cole anyone at least Tulisa seems nice enough though

Marina's most recent song was made by Dr. Luke. When Tulisa was in N-Dubz, the group made most of their songs all by themselves. Fazer (and sometimes Dappy) did the production, and all three of them did the lyrics and vocals.

Actually it was a co-write and a partnership she had 50% input Tulisa had absolutely none
![]() N-Dubz have made loads of songs completely by themselves. No outside producers or anything. They HAD to at the start of their career obviously since they didn't have a record label to provide them with producers and songwriters, and even after they got signed they kept doing it for most of their songs. |

A co-write probably means that Dr. Luke made the entire song and Marina changed one word at the end or something.
