e was only in the semis because cowell will release the song under his label and he knows it will be a number 1. the song is awful and the minute he started I realised that the novelty had already worn off

Awful song. It's not even a song more a jingle. Probably on course for no. 1.
But good luck to someone living in Moss Side making something out of nothing, getting a bit of money out of it and improving his life. |

The song is catchy and it hasnt got boring maybe ringtone he could make no.1 (chico time did) also.imagine if he knocked tulisa off the no.1 spot (didnt see her performance but heard it was bad although her outfit looked like something rihanna would wear

If that Tulisa song can & so can saying that you've found love in a hopeless place 56,000 times then the standard isn't anything out of reach,
I thought he was absolutely dreadful tonight, but mainly because he sang the exact same song again, but the song itself is no worse than a hundred of others so why not. Just no need to hear it on a talent show twice within a month. |

Unfortunatley yes. Remember Cowell is responsible for Mr Blobby, Zig & Zag, The Teletubbies & the Power Rangers getting in the charts. Must be some reason why he didn't say a bad word about it yet slagged off the Jive Dancers for doing the same thing as in their audition (which wasn't strictly true).
And if that Tulisa's song is number 1 it's clear any crap can do well in the charts these days. |

It won't get to number 1 because all the people who would need to download it to get it there won't be able to download it from iTunes because they've lost their phones.

The Cheeky Girls and the Teletubbies managed it so why not....
Olly Murs and One Direction didn't win the X Factor either... Didn't stop them. |

Given the bar is set so low these days for being a "hit", I imagine he will be rocketing to the top.

If Simon does this correctly and signs him up as soon as possible, they could have a single out in the next few weeks. The backing track is already there so he just needs to put vocals over the top. Stick him in front of a green screen and film a cheap video and they can release it.

On the face of it, he stands no chance.
But then again, a lot of what makes the charts is rubbish already so one more............ |

With the backing of Simon, and its huge popularity, it could well make it to No. 1.

I'd buy it.
I'm sure a few other people would as well. So yeah, it could very possibly reach Number One! |

Considering what's been number 1 in the past, yes. Look at what's number 1 right now.
