Soap ratings are here: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s3...-with-87m.html
Coronation Street: 8.7m Emmerdale: 6.6m EastEnders: 5.6m Neighbours: 0.9m Hollyoaks: 0.8m Home and Away: 0.8m World Championship Snooker Final actually had 2.9m yesterday, not 2.1m which I posted earlier. |

"Massive 9.8m" my arse. It got 9.4m for the first showing, only 350k up on the previous night, and which is presumably therefore about 1.5-2m down on the equivalent show last year - and this is airing earlier in the year, with Cowell back, the coldest and wettest Bank Holiday in years, colder and wetter than Christmas Day apparently, and an out-of-slot Monday night Antiques Roadshow as the main competition.
And even the results was flat at 9.4m also - despite the Corrie lead-in and 2nd half of the SW repeat which must have bombed with about 2.5m tops. |

9.4m is not bad rating for any programme in 2012, however it faces The Apprentice on Wednesday, will it be nearer 8.5m come Thursday morning. So with a BBC1 average of 3.5m, it looks like EE c.5m, AR about 4m and SW around 2.5m all are my estimates!!
Plus it has a head start doesnt it? TA's got more to fear if anything. It is the silent victim of the BBC devoting 110% of its PR spinning to shore up its other flagging "talent" show.

I'm not worried about The Apprentice. Everyone on BGT's more talented than that shower.

Is that an average or a peak for the results show? If it's a peak then it's disappointing, but if it's an average then it did pretty well to match the performances given the late slot on a school night.

As horrific as expected for AR, which its fans probably didn't even know was airing there. Stupid scheduling.
How it actually rated: 3.4m Nobody predicted lower than 3.7m. |

Thanks Mike. I was wondering, do you know if/when the ITV1+1 data for weeks ending 18th March, 25th March and 1st April will be fixed? The BARB website does currently have ratings for those weeks but the top 10 is missing quite a few programmes which should've made the list.
so from this week onwards, I guess |

10.51m and 9.17m for The Voice then.
Pitiful... I must say I'm entralled by TV's stategy of launching high and aiming to reduce its ratings every week from there on. Its truely a unique approach and its fascinating to watch it play out. |
