Who cares what somebody else wears? So long as they're dressed and decent, what does it matter to anyone else?
Thanks Elanor. And I'll continue to wear my footy shirt when I go this year!

Velociraptor - Great album from the end of last year and the single Goodbye Kiss out now.
Bet you don't play that on Magic

Thankfully...

Change the title of the thread from Official Snooker Thread to Bitching About What The Audience Wears please moderator
LOL. However, years ago you could not see the audience as the lights were dimmed..I think the lighting of the audience ruins the atmosphere. I really don't want to see them on my tv.

I always like seeing a Dundee United top. I'm not into football in the slightest, but it brings back happy uni memories for me.

Cheers, same here I would love to go to every match. I'm going to go next year and see how I get on, my problem is that whilst I enjoy watching snooker I do other things while watching it, eat, text, Facebook, post on here and I'm usually sloutched on the sofa or in bed so I'm not sure how I would find it in the arena, but I will give it a go!
Yeah I don't know how the audience manages to just sit there for all that time in silence. Howcome you never hear somebody just let one rip?

Anyone know what year the governing body banned players from smoking within the arena during a match?

Maybe he wants to get home for the end of BGT?

Those two Guy's wearing the Coventry and Dundee United tops have been in the same seats for about ten years now. The blonde larger lady you keep seeing in the osullivan camp.Is that his partner.
Yes, it's a season ticket. They're not the only ones, there are quite a lot of people there year after year in the same or similar seats. When you start going to watch live you start seeing the same faces there all the time. I think it's great - if you can afford it, why the hell not? I'd love to be able to go to every session.
A lot longer, I remember when he had long hair and he used to bring his kids. I always look out for him at the start of the tournament. Don't see anything wrong with the fact they go every year and like the same seats, good on them. I used to go to the tennis tournament at wembley years ago and always made sure I got the same seats and had the best view every year.

TV picture is not the best and at first I thought it was Richie Benaud sitting in the front!! (pretty sure it's not )

"Didn't sound like a Kasabian track"?! Wtf? Would Willie recognise a Kasabian track if it sat on him?

Definitely going to try my best to go and see some live snooker for the first time next year! Here's a quick question to those of you that have been a few times, do you prefer to use the headsets with the commentary or not? Part of me thinks it'll take something away from the atmosphere. I'll try both with and without anyway, just wondering whether anyone had a particular preference.
