sky netflix lovefilm blu-ray dvd many ways of getting movies today.

sky movies is good if you want movies on your tv and its good that they provide a on demand service for sky customers.

lovefilm is good if you want to rent dvds or blu-rays but they rushed out a streaming service which doesn't have hd films or 5.1 surround sound.

netflix is great hd films and hd 5.1 sound but needs more content.

DVDs is cheap many films to choose from and blu-ray hd and hd sound not as many films as DVD.

piracy every film you could ever want for free but we need a pay service where you get every film you could ever want to watch.

in my view netflix should be the uk answer to piracy every film you could ever want to watch in hd and hd sound. But theirs to much competition and we'd need to pay for 2 or more services to get all the films we could ever want to watch

was literally thinking this just this morning. I wholeheartedly agree, we need one big service, that's available on all devices commonly used for streaming (Tablets, laptops, phones), content that matches the selection of home media like DVD's and Blu-rays. Top quality HD and 5.1 surround.
There'll still be the blu-ray and DVD market for those who prefer physical releases too.
I honestly think piracy would reduced so much more if everything was just a bit more simple and convenient.
