I think they need a new notice.
The problem they were trying to rectify was obviously why it wasn't working !!!

The link they set was back to the forums (forums.digitalspy.co.uk), instead of www.digitalspy.co.uk

Yes, I know all that, Martin, but they were saying that it was scheduled maintenance and, they gave the wrong link. That's why I'm suggesting that they need a new notice!

The Arqiva Commercial Radio Awards nominations have been published. Only one shortlist for an LBC presenter.

Newcomer(s) of the Year (sponsored by Skillset)
Alun Cochrane – Absolute Radio
Emma Barnett – LBC 97.3
Eoghan McDermott – XFM

What we don't know if any others were nominated but not shortlisted.

What I heard of Steve this morning seemed to suggest that he was talking about the Royals and a lot of that was about Princess Diana. He really believes he's such an expert on what happens behind closed doors. Much of it has been done to within an inch of its life but I noticed that he liked mentioning that she listened to his overnight show...

FGS, what a palaver to get here!

For some reason DS wanted me to update my personal details, then I had to wait for an email confirmation before I could access the site

I hope others do not have the same problem.

Good to know you finally made it through, Shirl.

Obviously they didn't trust you and that is why they wanted to update your details

Well, we're fussy about who we let in......... but I'm surprised you had trouble, Shirl.

VQ, maybe DS also got confused with my gender when I re-ticked the box, or even worse, they mistook me to be a racehorse

Hi & why,Twinkle ? Have you been to another land - a place where it doesn't rain 24 hours a day. You would never desert Nick Abbot - If, you have - may I have your share ?

One of his little jokes, Gildy. He repeats that one often - because, as he says, it can't be disproved.

Haha two for one there VG! I'm damn well sick again for the moment and spent half the afternoon trying to log in - DS said I should use my Facebook account.

I'd rather keep my 'lovely granny' and 'idiot with IT' personas seperate.

H's show, last night, featured several callers with anecdotes relating to Vidal Sassoon.
Let us hope Jacqui is gone for good!

That would suit me fine chin but I don't think it will happen. I think LBC shouldn't listen to all these cries for politically balanced shows.

Just give us shows presented by intelligent, interesting people who know their own minds and don't dither for fear of upsetting a few.

Switch it off and switch it on again. That's what Darren Tossal would say.

Steve droning on about migraine this morning. He is correct. Why do we listen? We heard such revelations as 'migraines are painful' and 'they may be triggered by allergies'. Earth shattering stuff folks! Dreadful, dreadful I'm afraid!

I got a headache listening to this.... Syndol is not available and will not be until September when it is being relaunched - there was a problem over drug licensing. The Boots tension headache pills are in the same boat. Pity as they do make you sleep better.

Oooooer.... Maybe someone read my post of yesterday morning.
(Or maybe it's just SB's day off.)
