Now I always leave my Hummy on standby overnight so I don't miss any OTA updates (I was advised to do this on this forum). Have I just stumbled across a drawback of doing this? Like an EPG problem?
Or is it a cumulative effect of just rescanning at Changeover Day and not switching-off-at-the-mains-and-then-back-on before rescanning?”
You're best to leave the machine in STANDBY rather than switching OFF at the mains when not in use, your EPG problem is not normal. A re-boot (mains OFF, wait 30 seconds, mains ON) is good sometimes (the Hummy is a little computer after all) but if you think your machine might have a problem then, as Martin suggests above, a Default Setting is the thing to do. If you want a belt and braces approach, do a re-boot then follow the advice in my post #9
here.
