Likeable Candidates
For me was gutted team Tom lost tonight. The four people in his team are more endearing than all in team Gabrielle's.

Also I don't think you'll find many people who'll agree with you on Adam. I will admit he's cut back the sexist jokes recently and has done well in the last two weeks, but he's still an unpleasant individual. |

Tom and Gabrielle are the only likeable ones imo.

Wish they would show Nick more, I want to like him, but he is just there, I mean yes he has won twice as PM, but he never made a real impression

Adam, endearing and likeable? Are you serious? I think he's one of the most unpleasant candidates to be the show since it started.
Gabrielle, Nick and Tom are the likeable ones imo. While I still don't like Ricky, he has grew on me but that could be just because he's nowhere near as bad as Adam. The others I don't really think about. |

After tonite episode, I think I quite like Gabrielle. She seems to be genuinely nice. I still think she's not a good businesswoman though.
Tom is good for his age, but he always looks sad (he's got sleepy eyes too). I understand why the artist did not particularly like him. I don't really get all the fuss about Nick. Yes, he won twice as PM, but he's just there.....not doing anything particularly impressive (apart from giving intelligent comments here & there). |

I thought Laura was likeable, and I think Nick and Gabrielle are also.
I started out not liking Jenna, but I think as the series has progressed she's turned out to be a perfectly pleasant woman. Jade has pulled an opposite trick; she's become less likeable. Tom's too boring to like or dislike. Ricky isn't very likeable, and Adam and Stephen are abhorrent. The redemption arc they seem to be trying to pull for Adam won't work; he's been too much of a knob. |

I don't know about Ricky, he definitely seemed very arrogant to begin with but he's got his head down and done well on a few tasks now. I don't think he's quite as up himself as Adam and Stephen are, wouldn't mind it if he made it to the final. |

The problem for me is that they are all reasonably likeable in some way - with the possible exception of Stephen - but that they're likeable in the sense of being pleasant and inoffensive, rather than in the sense of being entertaining or inspiring. I can't really get worked up too much about who stays or goes - again with the possible exception of Stephen.
It seems to me that You're Fired is running up against just this phenomenon. It looks to me as though its struggling to come up with anything genuinely funny or remarkable (good or bad) from any of the candidates' time on the show and so is over-reliant on the live action cartoon ejector seats and so on. |

Basically this. Jade seems pleasant normally, but in the boardroom I get the feeling she kind of loses it and blames everyone hysterically.

My fave 3 are Gabrielle, Nick and Jenna, so I was very happy which team won.
![]() It's tough to find anyone to like in recent series of the Apprentice. |

Done a complete u-turn on Adam personally. Originally hated him but the past couple of weeks i've sort of rooted for him

I really like Gabrielle and Nick, but was also gutted that Tom's team lost. Although we lost Laura which was a bonus.
I just felt that Tom chose not to fawn over the artists and tried to show them he was knowledgeable which would translate to being able to really talk to customers about it and this is what cost him. I liked that he gambled and really wanted him to sell one. I feel the other team made more slip ups overall and lucked into the win. |

I don't really dislike any of the last eight but the most likeable are Gabrielle and Nick. The fittest is Jade and the most interesting is Adam.

*Obviously, Stephen and Adam (imho) are not included in this description. Having to sit next to either of those two at work would be enough to make any sane person want to throw themselves out of the 10th floor window |
