i dont think it really matters some prefer their privacy from fb for many reasons and some dont care, and then there are those trolls and pbus who can still post anon the saucepots.

My username is the only name I will answer to, my 'real name' is not for public knowledge.

Is it just the pointless login that doesn't work on Safari or is there anything else?

Aside from the change in the way we login, does the forum look completely different to anyone else? The whole layout has changed for me, but, i've only seen it mentioned by one other member and that thread has been closed now.

What a load of crap - took ages for me to log in! The pop-up didn't show anything !

Yes, in parts and showbiz, music, etc... is all listed at the bottom of the forum now. I can no longer see my post count etc... at the left or how many views per post, amongst other things.

On the very bottom do you see 'Click here to change to Desktop version' or something along those lines?

Yeah, I just got directed to some details page. I hit the back button until I got to a forum page again and it offered me a login as ds button which immediately logged me in without entering any credentials. Weird.

What's this form asking you to enter your real name etc all about?

I can now log in via IE9 but I have to lower my security settings to Medium High in the Internet Zone. I have also had to enable Cookies by adding DS to the list of allowed sites. In the old login I could leave the Internet Zone as High with Javascript enabled and I had DS in the Trusted Zone with Javascript disabled. Before you ask, I always clear all my internet traces after visiting sites via CCleaner and also at the end of each browsing session. I also use Clean Space to remove the other stuff that CCleaner doesn't feature.

Really annoyed with this new logging in. I nearly couldn't get into my account there was nothing wrong with the old logging in!

But you can now make comments on the DS entertainment stories, I've commented on Lindsay Lohan and Alex Reid tonight.

...and I can't log out.
