I ate crap as well all week and slept 3 hours before Hyde Park, about 3 hours Tues night because my ears were ringing and my legs aching and then about 4 hours last night and I had an upset stomach...life on the road doesn't agree with my body
![]() I felt such a buzz after last nights show and it made me realise how much better it all is with proper fans around |

i will be part of the deal! I would love to go with all you guys and ladies from this thread. Seeing a Madonna show with proper Madonna fans would make up for the sadness I'm feeling about hyde park. Is it normal to feel deflated and sad after a show that was so damn good? So yes, let's make a pact and agree to go to the next UK gig as a group!
I agree, I tried to convince myself the crowd were amazing but after B'ham it's obvious they weren't. I wish that she could've put on the show at HP at B'ham (you know without all the technical faults, it would of been more appreciated than it was at HP) I wish B'ham was my first M concert. I hope she comes back next time!

She had a great time. She said 'come on birmingHAAAMMM' loads compared to London and dedicated masterpiece to us and thanked us for our support and said at the end we were a great crowd..I've watched YouTube clips of pretty much every show so far and I can't recall this happening in many other places so I think there will be a good chance she'll come back to Brum, maybe at the slightly bigger LG Arena.
I'd be very reluctant to go to another stadium show after Hyde Park, the sound and view are often lousy and because the capacity is huge you can bet tons of people go who think she hasn't done nothing since the Immaculate Collection |

Did she say something about doing a Bollywood album? I've seen it mentioned on another site but no one else seems to have picked up on it so I'm wondering if she really said it.

But I would be happy to see her at Wembley Arena or Earl's Court. TH14, I hope you'd be up for a group outing with us? From reading your posts I sense that you and I are roughly the same age and have been M followers since the beginning so at least I would be comfortable to have a good old bopping session without being made to feel inappropriate which is what I felt at HP. |

Yeah sounds great Wizzy. I'm late 20's so getting on a bit compared to some of the whipper snappers on here
I think she will do a second leg now Australia is out of the picture and hopefully that will include some arenas. I'd go to two gigs so maybe one with friends and the other with you guys

Wizzy why would you feel inapropriate?
I'm 19 and I was dancing with and having a brilliant time with "older" people. I get on with older people better anyway...

Ah! I'm a little older than you at 43! But your posts are so "grown up" sounding it made me think you were at least mid 30's! (Sorry, don't mean to be patronising). Out of interest, what is it about Madonna that appealed to you?

I remember watching a high school talent show when I was 11 and they performed LAP and I was so mesmorized and got the Immaculate Collection and it went from there. I have followed her ever since and there's some era's I don't like but I dont think she is comparable to anyone. She's a complete legend and is in a class of her own performance wise
You are right. She is totally incomparable. No other artist is like her. I don't particularly like the Bedtime Stories era. I loved Erotica when it came down but rarely play it now. At the time I loved the Like A Virgin era but now think it's her most "retarded" (stealing a phrase from the lady herself) of her career. |

My sister was a huge Madonna fan and I was introduced to her through that. I remember her (my sister) going crazy because she wanted to see Dick Tracy at the cinema but my dad wouldn't let her go as it was Madonna
that is one of my earliest memories of her. Plus Blonde Ambition was in full swing and because of that ''performance'' she was a bit of a taboo in our house! It wasn't until a year later though when I became a proper fan. The Immaculate Collection had been out a while and everyone owned it so everyone knew Madonna's songs. Because of that it was all anyone would sing at school. Then of course the Sex era came and I was just fasinated with her. There was no one like her at all. There was also very few female acts in the charts back then as well. It was really male dominated and because Madonna was Madonna it just made her stand out even more but she was also really hated at this point. I think it was the lowest part of her career yet its my most favourite. |

It's one of the highlights of the show for me. Did the dancer in heels nearly trip her up or something? I remember her saying something about him being a silly boy

She also dropped her mic during LAV and the stage wouldn't rise for I'm Addicted. It was a disaster show really but that made it all the better and at least it's a show she won't forget and I'm sure she'll remember the great crowd

LOL she didn't have much luck but she did with the crowd. I honestly think she loved it. You could just tell compared to how she was at HP.

I thought she seemed disinterested at Hyde Park. I also can't fathom why at the end she said "Goodnight, and thank you very f***ing much" before buggering off on her bicycle!
In her documentaries such as IGTTYAS she often comments on the crowds and whether they are good or bad and spent a long time saying she hates the Vegas audience and how she ca t wait for the show to finish. She must get such a rush from getting into a stadium where thousands are jumping and clapping and clinging on to her every word |

I agree. She was the total opposite at B'ham though. I think she felt the energy. I honestly thought it would be Hyde Park that would be incredible and B'ham that would be quiet. How wrong I was.
