As sad and tragic as this is, why have they said Laura's child's father; why don't they say her husband, ex-husband, boyfriend, or ex-boyfriend ?

Because him being the father of her child is a stronger link than him being her ex?

Very sad to read. Sadder obviously for the guy himself and for those who were still close to him, but still, must have been quite a shock to Laura too.

I wonder if that's why Lord Sugar gave her another chance after that task? Maybe he felt it might have affected her performance.

Makes Sugar's treatment of her in the boardroom seem even more harsh...seemed obvious to me that he didn't like her but he could have at least gone a bit easy on her after that (while still firing her if he wanted to!)

She said herself she hadn't made it 'public' so it would've been a bit weird if had treated her differently. Having said that it wasn't harsh he was himself with her and she did mess up somewhat.

well then shes a trooper for keeping it quiet and soldiering on. Shes a far more astute and consciousnesses candidate than Jade who totally exposed some major flaws when she had her chance as PM.

Still, sad news about the tragic loss.

What a very sad and tragic thing to happen.

I feel that Laura was brave to continue and I suspect that even though she did her very best under the circumstances, after something like that happens it surely puts a different perspective on the value of selling overpriced art.
