@Tyyleer, it's about a girl who moves back to the place she grew up to get revenge on the people who framed her father for an appalling crime, in a nutshell.
I agree it was perfectly clear and so was also confused by people getting confused by it.

His sister plays Maddie in Hollyoaks? Looks like he's the one with any talent! Just jokin'!

I'm actually AGOG at Josh and Scarlett Bowman being related! They have nothing in common whatsoever in terms of accent, looks, mannerisms. Mind blown.

Josh also briefly dated Amy Winehouse, i think during her time in abroad (Barbados I think she lived?)

I entreat everyone to stick with it after the first episode! I've seen all 22 episodes of the first season and I can safely say the last 5 minutes of the season are among my favourite of this entire TV season, and that's from someone that watches Homeland and such.

The first episode does seem a little tacky, especially noticeable when watching it for the second time on E4, but something happens after that. It gradually becomes much more rich and spectacular. Seriously, don't bail until you've watched the whole first series people.
I'm not sure this is a great advert . 5 minutes at the end of 22 episodes Fine by me though as I'm one of the few to enjoy the first episode. Clearly a tacky advocate

Exactly Luxe. I found no problem following it and enjoying. Excited about the next episode

To be fair they didn't say the last 5 minutes is the only great bit, just that they were their favourite. I wouldn't say that was a bad thing for the show, it means that there's a good pay off at the end of the season (and there is by the way).

I have watched the whole season and watching the pilot back it wasn't as good as I remembered, it was still ok but the show as since evolved into much greater things. I'm going into tonight's with lowered expectations (like I did the first time) and hoping I will enjoy it as much as I did the first time, and if I don't at least I know there are still great things to come.

I'll give this another go tonight as there isn't much else on tonight to watch what with all the Jubilee nonsense.

No prizes for naming the young actor who went from Gossip Girl to this, playing the same character (himself), with just a different name.

2-4 are quite self-contained 'revenge of the week' stories although they're far from boring IMO. It really hots up from 5 onwards though.

Well I thought episode 2 was quite rubbish to be honest

I thought it was an ok episode, i'm sticking with it. I totally saw the resemblance between Josh Bowman and his sister in that one actually. Same eyes, same smile. I'm not sure what I think of some of the main cast members though, I don't find most of them particuarly charismatic. I do like Nick Wechsler though, he's a good actor.

I have to agree, i thought ep2 wasn't a strong episode. Not that it was bad by any means it just didn't grab my attention as much, however i will stick with it. My main problem is the lead actress, i don't know about anyone else but i just don't find her all that believable. I find it hard to root for her. Maybe it's her acting, but is she any good? What's she done before this as i've never heard of her.

She was a main cast member in Brothers & Sisters. And she's extremely good indeed. Some of her scenes later in the series will leave you gobsmacked.

Well I loved last night's episode. It's all obviously dark and clever in that it rushes through things expecting you to keep up rather than explaining it all again and again. I quite like the way they show what actually happened to create the scam after it has occurred, a bit Hustle esque, though it may get annoying if it's the same format for the whole 22 episodes. I'm guessing not by some of the hints on here.

Loving it and no complaints from me.

I really enjoyed episode 2 as well! Just wish there was a first look. It is definitely one of those programmes that I could watch in one sitting

Josh Bowman has the same smile as his sister, could really tell they were related this episode.

Love all the characters, especially Jack Porter!

Its not that I don't find her believable, she seems like a good actress but I don't find her all that likeable...its still early days but I am finding it hard to root for her too. She's not relatable to me. I don't know whether thats a trait of the charcter or her not bringing that as an actress.

Argh, completely forgot this was on last night with all the jubilee madness. Does anyone know if it's repeated this week?

Yes, that's similar to my point and likeability does come into it, i agree. I'm not really rooting for her, i'm just seeing where she takes it and what she's going to do next.

I liked the 2nd episode quite a bit, as I did the 1st but thought it was a bit complicated. But I seem to have figured out everything!

One question : the person with the dog, how is he related to Emily? I didn't understand the scene between them in the second episode.

He's not related, they were kids and played together when she was "Amanda."
The dog as a puppy was given to her by her father.
I guess Jack must have taken and looked after the dog when her father was arrested.
That's why the dog recognised her.
It is obviously a lot brighter than Jack.
