So-so episode last night, still fairly watchable in a switch your brain off kind of way. I do find it funny though that all her targets look exactly the same in the past when Amanda was 8yrs old and they haven't changed a single bit in present day Hamptons!

No sorry, you've misunderstood me. I meant that the gossip of the Hamptoms is trivial and that seems to be her weapon in bringing people to justice. Compare that to what happened to her dad and it seems fairly pathetic in comparison.

Missed last nights episode... anything major happen or will I be fine without catching up?

I actually re watched the pilot today....I really wish they had kept "Angus and Julia" as the soundtrack to the season

Yes, but slowly it's becoming "eye for an eye". She will only punish to fit the crime. For example, she wouldn't push someone off a cliff for spitting in her soup.
She's ruining the reputation and whole lives of these people like the Dr. and Lydia who sold themselves to the Grayson's by testifying against her father.

But the people who were actually directly responsible for the downing of the plane and are more severely to blame will be the subjects of her long term plan of revenge.

Oh my who will Emily choose, Jack or Daniel, where will her heart lead..............ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. I guess this love triangle is something I'm just going to have to grin and bare, although maybe somebody should have told the writer's that it only really works if the men are actually worthy candidates and not just dopey drips. Neither one is good enough for her. She's a badass getting things down and taking names and they're a couple of manboys moping about like idiots.

And Jack, screwing over his brother on the whole selling the bar and setting themselves up thing because he thinks he has a chance to get into Emily's pants, that's a bit of a douche move. I'm still undecided on Declan and Charlotte, whether they've actually got anything to add to this or are just bit players, but I did think their moment on the swings was genuinely sweet. Although I'm not sure how much teen romance I can handle if it's just there for the sake of it and doesn't fit into the bigger plot.

Still it's Emily and Victoria who are making this show for me. Dancing around each other but both suspicious of the other. I don't know if it was intentional but from being set up as a villain every little bit of character development about her makes me more and more intruiged as to why she did what she did to the Clarks. Also I went from thinking I would hate him, to loving Nolan.

And so far my theory on Tyler is that he's not wealthy at all and is using Daniel and his connections for a con job.

One other thing that did come to mind with this weeks episode. Emily could have really landed Ashley in it, with her being responsible for the DVD. I wonder if she is genuinely Ashley's friend or if she's just using her and doesn't care if she's collateral?

Amanda/Emily's hair looks remarkably similar when she was 8 and now. So she has spent years planning her revenge, key to which is that no-one suspects that she is Amanda, and rather than keep her hair short and black as it was when she got out of prison, she decides to have it in a style and colour almost identical to when she was a child? A cunning criminal mind there.

Sorry if this has already been covered - but the 'g' in the word revenge that looks like an '8'.

Is this to refer to the things that happened when she was 8 - or will she be ruining the lives of 8 people?

It's the symbol for eternity, which her dad used to draw for her - it is etched on the beach house fence and she has a tattoo of it on her wrist. Pay attention!

BIB 1 - It doesn't really bother me. It doesn't take up a huge amount of screentime and any scenes with Daniel always relate to the Grayson's/Emily's revenge so it's enough to keep me interested. Although I agree both the men still seem cookie cutter with no development.

BIB 2 - I agree. Nolan was an absolute irritant for me. But, now at the end of the season, his partnership with Emily is perhaps my favourite part of the show.
And aside from Victoria's botoxed face, she's good too. I like how in the first few episodes she (as the villain) seemed to display more redeeming qualities than the others. lol

It does. I like it when the storyline gets so complicated, every character seems to play a part and affect it either directly or indirectly. Gets a bit too soapy for me towards the end but the finale was a good gamechanger.

I've got to say I hate when shows do this, be it like Revenge, showing something months down the line or showing what happens toward the end of an episode at the start. I find it ridiculous, it rarely adds anything at all. We're going to see it anyway why show it to start with?!

Anyhoo, other than my pet peeve, I am really enjoying this show.

Sometimes it is used stupidly and unnecessarily. But, some stories benefit from that kind of storytelling. It's supposed to allow the audience to piece things together as the story builds up to the moment.

It is the symbol for infinity. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinity

and the way it is tatooed on her arm is double infinity, although I'm not sure how you can have double infinity.

I really like this show, very much gotten in to it. Feels much like Desperate Housewives.

Hmmm, I'm quite curious as to why they showed this in the pilot episode. My thinking is that Daniel doesn't get killed, or something else happens! I think this will happen during the middle of the series, too, so that we will get see the aftermath.

I wonder if Victoria Grayson is Emily/Amanda's mother? I've been thinking this from the beginning. Or, is Nolan her brother? I reckon there are a few links that we haven't found out yet!

Durr, so it is! Didn't recognise it the other way around.

Am quite enjoying it, just not quite sure how many episodes you can string the story out over.

Exactly why I thought it was a one season show. Let's just say it gets... uh... very complicated.

It got a little too soapy for my taste in the second half but it was good enough to keep me interested.

I really hope Victoria isnt Emily/Amanda's mother! That would mean she has been dating her half brother
