People seem to take delight at the misfortune of some Corrie stars so here is a nice story.
Ashley and Claire get wed

Claire looks really pretty and her hair looks great. They should let her glam up a little bit more on the show - nothing major, just a nicer haircut, some nicer tops

whats your problem - you arent interested in Maya's explosions and you arent interested in Karen and you arent intrerested in Claire and Ashley.

So why do you watch Corrie? What a moan!

I thought I read somewhere that there was a slight hitch, that Claire was late or something.. Maybe not?

It looks excruciatingly dull.. like the idea of the archway of cleavers though, that's a nice touch.

You've got to be kidding! The words "chalk" and "cheese" spring to mind (and also "orange", "fat" and "slapper").

Yes, it's very tiresome. Just stick to one of the "we think EE's fab" threads if you don't like Corrie, you're dragging the whole mood down.

Its not even constructive criticism, and its relentless, I'm getting very bored of it.

Know how it feels?

I assume you mean EastEnders. Do you think EastEnders has been worthy of the criticism its recieved? I think so.

There's one difference between this.

The EastEnders criticsm was due and also felt by the press, other forums etc. The Coronation St criticsm is not due, and is the opposite of the views of the press.

So basically its just to cause trouble!

When/if EastEnders gets brilliant again next year, you'll find all these supposed EE-haters come out in droves to praise it. Why praise a soap if its bad?

NO, I do actually think this!
Mr and Mrs Boring 2004 exactly.
Corrie saw the ratings winner that was the Enders wedding last xmas.
They've failed to recreate it, they've had Ashley and Claire and we're supposed to think he deserves happiness after Maxine etc...awwwwww!!! And they've had problems, she nearly left etc...but the build up to Kat and Alfie was much more intense and wanted. A and C are just boooooring.

No, you just said "its not even constructive criticism" did you not? Yes I think you'll find you did, what percentage of the criticism of EE is constructive?, and what percentage is snide little remarks you do it yourself. My criticism is real criticism, i'm a true Corrie fan so I can admit its faults you see its all about thinking logically.

No but what you forget is that the the ratings winner for Corrie will be the departure of Karen McDonald, not the wedding...
