Well...that's it for BGT and BGMT, it's now over till next TIME!, overall BGT 2012 has been an okay series, not the best but defintiely an improvement from last year's series! I actually enjoyed a lot of parts for this year's series! I've also really enjoyed BGMT this year, a lot of fun and variety included, Stephen, Ant and Dec make me laugh! I will miss watching them on our screens! I'm also happy to hear that all 4 judges are returning next year cos I think the pannel was brilliant this year! Definitely better than last year's panel! Saturdays will now feel a bit empty which is sad, I kinda wish BGT lasted longer this year instead of being rushed to air six weeks earlier to go against The Voice but hopefully we will see mcuh MORE variety next year, I think Ashleigh and Pudsey are well deserved winners, it's really great to see a DOG act win BGT and this was the best dog act since Kate and Gin from 2012, Ashleigh and Pudsey were even better, I'm so glad they've won, they really deserve it. I'm gonna miss these threads, reading everyone's comments, we all had a bit of fun these past few weeks I'mma miss you guys! goodbye all, hope you all have a good weekend, I'm off to watch late TV now BYE ALL! I see what you did there... You can do that with almost anything and it does nothing to invalidate what I said and is somewhat of a silly argument, to compare criticism of a renoundly neglectful industry with neglect that happens generally in life.

Maybe if wives and children were being raised en masse by profiteers with nothing but money in mind and with complete contempt for the well being of the wives and children, to help line the purses of rich entertainment execs who equally couldn't give a damn, that comparison may hold some water.

I'm also against child beauty pageants and have numerous issues with children in the entertainment industry in general due to the lack of sufficient and enforced regulation, the way they use and then throw away when they are done with little to no support.

I also don't like to see animals used for cheap tricks and to be made to stuff that's complete unnatural.

People have these views, lots of people do and they are perfectly valid views to have. They are hardly radical, strange or hard line are they?

I've had conversations on these topics on this site before and never had anyone tell me I'm wrong for having them; predictably when the discussion involves the favourite on a talent show these views go from reasonable to unreasonable.

Funny that.

Don't watch this often but all the acts seemed to have some genuine quality and in it for the right reasons rather than just a bit of public/press coverage.

I said the plot thickens because it's well known that running order can have a big influence on votes so being changed from the first slot to the penultimate slot on the day of the final is an interesting thing to happen. I just wondered why it did that was all.

Just getting around to watching BGMT now, and I got a good giggle out of Dec managing to stop the 'random' spinner on darts instead of beer pong. Stephen's face, for the split second before he realised how it had happened, was brilliant! Love seeing all three of them together, such funny banter.

Just butting in here while reading this thread, isn't it obvious why they and none of the singers in BGT entered the XFactor, they wouldn't get past boot camp, not because they aren't talented but because they are, Xfactor doesn't like people who can actually sing let alone play a guitar like Sam and Ryan, meanwhile Johnathon and Charlotte would get laughed off the stage at the auditions. Xfactor is for joke acts,people to laugh at and easy manipulated mediocre people not people with actual talent.
