I personally really like her but this is probably rubbish - the general audience won't/don't even know who she is - she's not a 'big' name, she wouldn't be a big draw tbh and she's hardly had massive success. I do like her but can't see this being true. Too random.

No, I like Marina but she's not that well known, she's had a few Top 20 singles and both her albums have charted well (didn't the new one go to Number 1?) but she's no more well known than the likes of Estelle and Duffy?

Yep, first album charted at #5 I think and her recent album #1 but with pretty woeful sales.

They should get someone like Florence or Adele. I think they'd be incredible choices as both have worked their arses off to get where they are today. They are both a great example of British musicians.

I agree, I'd love Lily to a get role as the new judge. I really can't think who their gonna get as a replacement however.

As for Marina, 99% sure this isn't happening as from June, she will be touring till the end of the year.

1st of all i adore her! and doing the show would just launch her into stardom!

however i dont think she would do the x factor.

im hoping its katy perry! she would draw in viewers and shes lovely...

I love Marina, but there's absolutely no way that she'll be on the panel, at least not when Tulisa is still around. She's probably at a similar level of fame that Tulisa had before joining last year, and there's no way that they would push a relatively unknown name onto the panel when only one judge will be changing.

I can't believe people are saying she's not well enough to be on the show? That isn't the issue. The issue is that Marina is too credible to ever accept being on the X Factor. She wouldn't do it, she's not that sort of artist.

I think she is one of but a number of 'back up plans' in case Dannii says 'no'. But Dannii would be mad to say no.

The X Factor has been the height of her success and she must want to get some of that back.
