No Deana you cannot dm anyone unless you follow each other. If you block someone that follows you, in blocking you would immediately wipe away their follow of you. Should you refollow then they will not be following you back - hence no dm Why do you ask?

Before he followed me permanently I had some1 who followed me back briefly to dm me, then unfollowed. I tried to reply but couldn't. It told me as he wasn't following me I couldn't dm. I then got a follow a few weeks later for which I was very pleased . How do you know this to be the case Deana, I've tried before with no success.

Which reminded us of someone who we didn't want to know
And Rhiii became the girl in charge of the double decker bus
As she directed all to seats on top with the minimum of fuss.

We got back to our hotel and to room 306
And tweeted out the twit- cam link so all could see the pics.
We were amazed to see who watched and tuned in to our link
They must have thought we'd lost the plot and had too much to drink

And Alma leaned that step too far and gave us all a shock
And Qwerty watched and commented and took someone off block
The tiredness came to some quite soon as we gradually drifted out
To go to beds that beckoned us as needed sleep did shout.

And then on Sunday morning that Cheeky and her crew.
Were not in time for breakfast food or to even have a brew.
But not to worry cos our Jan did organise our lunch
At a nearby pub just down the road, we were a happy bunch

And even John the teddy bear he had a real good time
With Jaffa cakes and *Ribena----blackcurrant never lime
And even Kay though she's moved on seemed happy to be there
We really had a brilliant time---let's go again next year.

Thats perfect lyn!! sums up such a fantastic weekend in such a fantastic way.
Shows all the funny times - even if we'd rather forget. And don't worry i'll always be about to make sure everyone is sitting comfortably on those pesky buses haha

Part 1:

Good Morning wonderful threadlings!

As my dearest Muddy has selfishly decided to desert me and swan off to New York, it means I have a lot of time on my heads between the hours of 12-4am that I used to spend yapping away to her! So seeing as I’ve had some time to spare, thought it was only right that you lucky bunch were given a report of JJJAGERS on Tour: Oxford 2012.

Can honestly say this weekend has reinforced to me how wonderful my JJJ friends are and how fortunate I am to have met such fantastic people that I would never have known if it wasn’t for the John James and Josie phenomenon. I am absolutely certain that we will stay in touch for always, because they embody the type of characteristics that I think are very important in a person; such as kindness, warmth, honesty, loyalty, intelligence, a sense of fun, a lust for life and more importantly a second-to-none sense of humour. We laughed until we were blue in the face (and the tongue literally from Cheeky’s swizzle stick things) and whilst JJJ is what united us, we have bonds now that go far beyond that and cannot be broken. Although don’t get me wrong, you couldn’t shut us up about John James and Josie and what we KNOW will happen one day...Fate never desserts you, remember that

Muddy and I arrived on Friday at the Holiday Inn after a slightly stressful journey, in which Muddy tried to get out of coming by saying her sat nav wouldn’t pick up the satellite...yeaaaah right Mudds! No, only joking, she was of course looking forward to her first meet up with #teamweirdo and I’m glad to say we didn’t disappoint. We went in my car to collect the cheekiest, most wonderful sausage that ever lived from the park & ride, 20-odd minutes behind schedule because Muddy’s super directions sent us to the wrong one and we were driving aimlessly around a deserted car park shouting ‘cheeky’ and laughing hysterically. This set the tone for the whole weekend and when we finally found her the giggles continued. They really are like two best friends I’ve known all my life and it was soooo wonderful to be reunited at last! I knew we were going to have a ball and we certainly made sure we did

As fate would have it, when we arrived back at the hotel car park, Rhi, Jan, Alma and Babalicious were just arriving back from Blenheim Palace and on queue Rhi got so excited to see us she nearly made Jan jump out of her skin. It was sooo lovely to see Jan and Rhi again and to finally meet Alma (who is loooovely) and the legend that is Texas Babs!! She’s done soooo much for this thread and it is wonderful to see she is just as amazing in real life! They say Americans’ sense of humour is not always as good as the Brits (don’t kill me), but our Babs’ is spot on!! Our plan is still to either go to Texas and kidnap her and her whole family or at least go over there for one of our now famous JJJAGERS ON TOUR trips. I’m not sure if Texas is ready for us mind, we are quite a bolshie & free spirited bunch and unless you’ve got fun and laughter on the menu we’re maybe not right for you! But Texas sounds like a blast, so I’m sure we’ll fit right in!

Within 5 minutes of going into the hotel, Muddy had a dilemma that became something that would happen over and over again over the course of the three days...had she locked her car keys in the boot of the car and would she have to tell her dad where she ACTUALLY was? As we rooted around her car, Cheeky called us to say that the keys are in fact in her bag and I think ‘awh bless, the nerves of meeting us all for the first time have made her a bit clumsy’....boy was I wrong...by the Sunday Muddy had spilt about 10 drinks; including one in my suitcase, nearly murdered us by opening a bottle of Cava so vigorously that we had to duck for cover against the raging cork (that Cheeky thought was a gunshot) and basically turned our hotel room into what looked like the scene of a crime. I’m sure there were more mishaps from our Number: 1 clown, but my memory evades me...maybe that’s a good thing for Muddy’s dignity

The first night we all decided to have a chilled one; catching up on everything and of course discussing all things JJJ; how relevant it all still is, how amazing, how magnificent and how delighted we were to have not chosen sides and still be able to appreciate them both, as if they were family members. They don’t always meet up to your hopes or expectations for them, but you still adore them all the same. We are all so like-minded, there was no bitterness that night or anyone trying to stir any proverbial, even though we having varying views; which resulted in some fantastic debates and discussions over our KFC bargain buckets and tipples! Funny how you can have a fantastic evening without leaving your hotel room when you are surrounded by a stellar group of people. Alma brought us some lovely Pavlova to wash down Muddy’s mojitos before heading off for the night and making plans to meet us back in the morning. It was a mixture of said mojitos and copious amounts of rum that made our wonderful Jan as drunk as a skunk. She is officially the funniest woman on the planet. We were in stitches with her actions to every story she told, her long delays between sentences and the pizza de resistance as John would say; “I’ve got a really good question like you all do on the thread and in the group, oooh a reaaallly, really good one to debate....How would you feel if Josie didn’t suuuuck.........................................................her thumb.” We were rolling around the floor and Cheeky, Rhi and I hit our heads against the wall at least twice from laughing so much, not from being clumsy or worse for wear ourselves, HONEST!

Babs being the American techno wiz that she is had her iPad with her and at one point we made the mistake of watching the “Fabulous” photoshoot, as Cheeky thought John pinched Josie’s bottom at one point but we couldn’t remember. What a mistake that was; we were transported back to this time last year and the ‘awwwhs’ and ‘oooomggggg they are soooo adorables’ made us all have a moment of reflection and introspection and ultimately once again brought home how gutted we are that their beautiful, pure and powerful love for one another has turned into fan wars and vitriol. It made us all the more determined to continue flying the flag for the most amazing relationship that we have EVER seen and reminded us why we still care two years down the line. All hail John James and Josie and long live the JJJAT and JJJAGERS!!!

When Babs ushered a tipsy Jan off to bed, obsessive compulsive moi decided to be the mother of the group and go around tidying everything up and putting all of the copious amounts of rubbish in the bin; from drinks, to jaffas, to lollies, to chips and limes (don’t ask) and we used mumma Jan’s bin bags that she had brought especially for the weekend. Our cheeky Rhi decided to run up to Jan’s room, knock on the door and leave her the wonderful surprise of her bin bags filled with rubbish but Jan wasn’t taking this lying down! She proceeded to get her own back by calling us every 20mins to say ‘what day is it for bins; week 1 or week 2’, ‘am I week 1 or week 2’ and ‘what day is it for garden waste’ to ensure that we little scamps didn’t get any sleep! To be fair, we weren’t getting any sleep anyway, as Cheeky and I were squished on a sofa bed for one, whilst Lady Muddy and Lady Rhi were sprawled out in the double bed. It was a mixture of the springs of the sofa bed digging into our backs, the ridiculous heat in the room and the fact that we could NOT stop talking about everything John and Josie that meant we probably got about 1-2hrs tops! Although Rhi drifted off quite a bit before the JJJ hardcores and managed about 6hrs Do you hear that Katie, Voddie and Hazy...Cheeky and I did you proud and Muddy is our new addition to the all-nighter club!

As we rooted around her car, Cheeky called us to say that the keys are in fact in her bag and I think ‘awh bless, the nerves of meeting us all for the first time have made her a bit clumsy’....boy was I wrong...by the Sunday Muddy had spilt about 10 drinks; including one in my suitcase, nearly murdered us by opening a bottle of Cava so vigorously that we had to duck for cover against the raging cork (that Cheeky thought was a gunshot) and basically turned our hotel room into what looked like the scene of a crime. I’m sure there were more mishaps from our Number: 1 clown, but my memory evades me...maybe that’s a good thing for Muddy’s dignity

The first night we all decided to have a chilled one; catching up on everything and of course discussing all things JJJ; how relevant it all still is, how amazing, how magnificent and how delighted we were to have not chosen sides and still be able to appreciate them both, as if they were family members. They don’t always meet up to your hopes or expectations for them, but you still adore them all the same. We are all so like-minded, there was no bitterness that night or anyone trying to stir any proverbial, even though we having varying views; which resulted in some fantastic debates and discussions over our KFC bargain buckets and tipples! Funny how you can have a fantastic evening without leaving your hotel room when you are surrounded by a stellar group of people. Alma brought us some lovely Pavlova to wash down Muddy’s mojitos before heading off for the night and making plans to meet us back in the morning. It was a mixture of said mojitos and copious amounts of rum that made our wonderful Jan as drunk as a skunk. She is officially the funniest woman on the planet. We were in stitches with her actions to every story she told, her long delays between sentences and the pizza de resistance as John would say; “I’ve got a really good question like you all do on the thread and in the group, oooh a reaaallly, really good one to debate....How would you feel if Josie didn’t suuuuck.........................................................her thumb.” We were rolling around the floor and Cheeky, Rhi and I hit our heads against the wall at least twice from laughing so much, not from being clumsy or worse for wear ourselves, HONEST!

Babs being the American techno wiz that she is had her iPad with her and at one point we made the mistake of watching the “Fabulous” photoshoot, as Cheeky thought John pinched Josie’s bottom at one point but we couldn’t remember. What a mistake that was; we were transported back to this time last year and the ‘awwwhs’ and ‘oooomggggg they are soooo adorables’ made us all have a moment of reflection and introspection and ultimately once again brought home how gutted we are that their beautiful, pure and powerful love for one another has turned into fan wars and vitriol. It made us all the more determined to continue flying the flag for the most amazing relationship that we have EVER seen and reminded us why we still care two years down the line. All hail John James and Josie and long live the JJJAT and JJJAGERS!!!

When Babs ushered a tipsy Jan off to bed, obsessive compulsive moi decided to be the mother of the group and go around tidying everything up and putting all of the copious amounts of rubbish in the bin; from drinks, to jaffas, to lollies, to chips and limes (don’t ask) and we used mumma Jan’s bin bags that she had brought especially for the weekend. Our cheeky Rhi decided to run up to Jan’s room, knock on the door and leave her the wonderful surprise of her bin bags filled with rubbish but Jan wasn’t taking this lying down! She proceeded to get her own back by calling us every 20mins to say ‘what day is it for bins; week 1 or week 2’, ‘am I week 1 or week 2’ and ‘what day is it for garden waste’ to ensure that we little scamps didn’t get any sleep! To be fair, we weren’t getting any sleep anyway, as Cheeky and I were squished on a sofa bed for one, whilst Lady Muddy and Lady Rhi were sprawled out in the double bed. It was a mixture of the springs of the sofa bed digging into our backs, the ridiculous heat in the room and the fact that we could NOT stop talking about everything John and Josie that meant we probably got about 1-2hrs tops! Although Rhi drifted off quite a bit before the JJJ hardcores and managed about 6hrs Do you hear that Katie, Voddie and Hazy...Cheeky and I did you proud and Muddy is our new addition to the all-nighter club!
