Ah so you can put what you want in a post but others can't?

How does your world work exactly?

So you agree with all the hate that certain acts are getting? I'm sorry you think it's unreasonable that I am trying to stick up for ryan.

This is all rumor, there is no proof.According to Brian kennedy, his mentor he let him go and knew he was going on BGT.
Its obvious everyone knew what was going on.
People are adding 1+1 and getting 12.Chinese whispers to make him look bad and big up the Voice.
Seem to me a lot of Ryan dislikers are Voice fans.BGT is a much better show and the Xfactor is miles better.BGT trumped it tonight.
Build a bridge and get over it.

Why? you don't know him and no one elected you to do the job.

Basically stick to commenting on th acts as you are meant to do on here and stop telling others what they can and can't post.

Get over yourself! You are not his PR agent.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't realise there was a code of conduct for commenting on acts. I'm pretty sure giving someone hate would be considered worse than sticking up for acts, but who am I to know such things.

You are sending hate to Ryan from behind a computer screen, get over YOURself.

What's with all the hatred for him here? I can't think of anything he has done to deserve all this vitriol. I don't think he was overrated.....his two songs sounded nice and contemporary and like something you'd hear on the radio any day.

I watched the Voice once, it lacks spark and colour IMo.The Irish one was dire, the winner boring.. It has to up its game.
I can see your game though, its transparent.

The standard of live show finalists wasn't great to start with and was ruined further by the regional voting bias.

I thought the four finalists were very poor and like something from a bad series of You're A Star.

As an Irish person, I personally have never forgiven Ryan for being a part of what's known in this country as.. 'Fair City'

I agree, he is sweet. The songs he wrote were quite beautiful, I hope he gets something out of the show.

I think he should do something about his stage name though, his surname is a mouthful

god he was awful - i cant see what people see in him or sam kelly

I thought Sam was much better, if a little safe/ronan keating-ish.

Ryan is just a child, the song sounded very junior, completely expected and it had zero message. Those sorts of weak love songs are all over the place, they dont progress music at all

I thought he was awesome. Especially the second song he did. Sounded like Tracy Chapman could've written it.

While you always get people who take their comments too far, is having and expressing a negative opinion of someone automatically hatred?

He seems that way to me too.

You get this with every show . . . people being called arrogant and cocky for absolutely no reason whatsoever, when what they actually say shows completely the opposite.

Seems to me just a poor excuse to slag off people you don't like (and no, previous poster who does not understand irony, pointing out that other users are slagging off people that they do not know does not constitute doing the same to them).

I hope he gets a record deal, I love his two songs and they'd do well. If not he needs to put the hard work in and move over here (if he's finished school).

I know what irony is. I am not slagging of posters at all, I am asking them to stop being rude to someone they don't know. You could be pedantic and suggest that I'm being rude, but being against such harsh and inappropriate critique is not being rude. It's called being sympathetic towards those who don't deserve the hate being thrown at them.

Most people aren't hating. We're just saying we don't like him.
