Well I like her

I used to really like her - until that fake yawn for laser harp guy. Because of that and how negative she has been this series, tonight I've found her really annoying and I hope she won't be back next year.

I like Amanda! She's not been on top form this series but she did stop to have a baby, near death experience and then back to carry on with the auditions!

I have never liked her. She is so talentless at acting and singing, there is a big difference between being honest and just being rude.

She dresses and styles herself so poorly, making herself look so much older. You would have thought that Joanna Lumley comment would have made her stand up and notice but it doesn't seem to have done anything.

I got the feeling that her near death experience was similar to the one I had when I stubbed my little toe the other day.

She's harmless enough, but she really stands out for me as being the only one of the current judging line-up who doesn't deserve to be judging the talent of others.

I think the panel works well. I think for the sake of consistency it would be silly to replace anyone next year, particularly since I think this has been the best panel the show has ever had.

Even though I cannot stand either Amanda or Alesha I must agree they all work well together. I do think that the introduction of Walliams is a major factor.

I don't think you need to be particularly talented to judge a show like BGT, though. Fair enough something like XF or SCD where knowledge in the area would help, but BGT isn't one of those shows & really, anyone could judge it if they had the guts for live TV.

If you don't think what she did was rude and crossed a line in terms of behaviour then I weep for your parents.

You may not have to be talented, but personally I think having some level of talent does help to lend you some credibility when judging others on theirs.

I actually see no problem in the way she styles herself - a different look each time - but am still interested to hear what JL has to say.

Agreed. She's soooo annoying.

In the theatre circles Amanda's actually well respected. Even the pickiest of musical critics loved her turn as Princess Fiona in Shrek when it first came to the West End, with lots of generous praise for her stage presence, comic timing and singing. I had never really noticed her up until that point but many of my friends who work in the West End, either in production or trying to make it on the stage, have all commented on how talented she actually is.

Personally I like Amanda because she seems to tell it like it is without feeling the need to overpraise everything.

Nothing wrong with Amanda ....she`s a far nicer human being than the sad fault finding nasty hobbits on this forum.
