I've got the Alan Green versions on my PC, but I still prefer the GMR or as it is now Radio Manchester version, with Wilf McGuinness screaming in the back ground for both goals. You can hear the sheer emotion in Wilf, it's down to the core of his very being in those screams.

Eden Hazard announces he's joining Chelsea.

I'm not gutted, cos I never for one minute expected him to go to United - but I thought he'd go to City.

haha. What kind of player signs for a club that doesn't even have a manager?

How does a club even go about buying players without a manager? If they can buy players without having a manager to approve who he wants in his team surely they could just do without one entirely? Have the coaching staff manage the team on the pitch and have the matchday selection decided by a consortium of senior officials and Roman Abramovic.

Whilst saddend that he hasn't chosen us, let's take a step back here. For whilst Chelsea have the money, it isn't the big money of City, and it proves that flashing all the amounts of money in the world around doesn't always get you the best players.

So I take some heart out of this, as much as I really wanted Hazard at United. Let's move on.

I find if bizarre. Chelsea have no business even being in the transfer market until they've got a manager. It can't be RDM as surely they'd want to confirm that before they signed anyone. The man has signed for a club without the foggiest of ideas who he is going to play for or whether or not they want him.

It's not bitterness because we didn't sign him but it makes absolutely no sense.

LOL, love how the press are now trying to prolong it by suggesting that by saying "Champion's League Winners", it could mean either United or Chelsea, as he's not specified which team.

I'm only concerned if we don't improve the midfield.

We will. Hazard is just one guy.

I'm bitter.

I hope the little prick picks up a long term injury on Saturday.

I blame Robben.

Agreed, signs for a team with no current manager, whos to say the incoming guy even wants Hazard, fair few people have said Hazard has an ego, well he should fit in very nicely there then.

Oh well onwards and upwards to the next transfer target, Im sure Fergie has a few in mind.

They need to look at SSN, it was running along the bottom of the screen that he's joining Chelsea!

Presumably if Chelsea hadn't won the Ch League he'd never have gone there cos they never managed to quality for that competition.

As Abramovich bought him, does that mean the new manager has to play him all the time even if he doesn't want to, if he wants to keep his job a bit longer?!

As I said elsewhere, why not at least wait until the manager for next year is confirmed and in place? There was no rush. It is not like the French league will spontaneously reappear again in three weeks time, out of the blue. If he waited a few weeks he could have at least then pretended he was moving for footballing reasons. Instead he's moving to a club to play for someone who as yet doesn't exist. I find that bonkers and don't know why he couldn't wait to make it look as if footballing reasons were at least considered along side the financial.

As it is the move looks PURELY financial, and I don't say that in a way that means anyone who signs for Chelsea over us is only in it for the money. But he's signed...without meaning to labour a point...FOR A CLUB THAT DOESN'T HAVE A MANAGER!!!

Although disappointing to lose out on a potentially world class player, the way Hazard has conducted himself throughout the whole process has been poor and i wouldn't be surprised if Chelsea have problems with him further down the road. I also wouldn't be surprised if in a few years time he is signing for Barcelona or Real Madrid if he is that good, i'd be surprised if he sees out his career at Chelsea.

Anyway now it is all over we can look at getting in other targets like Kagawa or someone else and look at trying to win our title back. One player no matter how talented will never be bigger than Manchester United and we will move on.

Like I said previously, I have a nightmare vision of United being linked to various players and ending up with none of them.

One down ....

You've answered your own question. Makes our own Ronnie look positively humble in comparison.

The ego has landed.
