Sam Kelly – 26.8%
Malakai Paul – 25.2%

So Nu Sxool were in fact 3rd - No wonder on that occasion Simon didn't take it back to the public vote!

Total proof if it were needed that Simon wanted Nu Sxool no matter what and also didn't wan't Twist & Pulse overshadowing them in the final and so brought back The Mend, even though Twist and Pulse were more popular.

Fixed all the way by Simon!”

I dont understand how to can compare percents from seperate semi-finals. The mend got 11% but they were up against the Winners of the whole show and OBA who came 3rd overall. Twist and Pulse didnt have as much competition in their semi-final so therefore had a higher percentage,
As for Malaki I thought it was obvious they couldnt put him through - they didnt need more singers and I dont think he could have gone through another night of that level of nerves.

Aquabatique – 0.9% they were nowhere near the top 3!

i thought the percentage was wrong for J&C for a minute thinking it was supposed to be 7.3% lol

Were the 5 acts that.finished 4th on their respective nights announced as 4th on each night's show? Ie left as 1 of the last 2, for the final spot in the 3?

Not sure what you mean. Only 2 from each night went through.
They announced the top 3 & said who had won it overall. Then the judges picked between 2nd & 3rd & Simon either picked an act to go through or went to deadlock to find out which of the 2 had the most votes (although I think he only did this once).

i know what they mean, they mean after they had announced 2 of the top 3 acts they were left with 2 acts and one of them was announced to have been in the top 3 and i think the 4th placed acts were in the last 2 to be announced, not sure though.

What the actual?

Just shows you what editing and the judges comments can do... he was terrible in his semi-final - easily the worst of the acts we were supposed to take seriously.

Interesting that the first show produced both the winner and the one that came in third and the second show the act that came in second. Maybe that has some influence, allowing viewers more time to think about it.

In the final Ashley and Pudsey won by a decisive percentage, as they deserved to. It's astonishing that an amateur dog act - basically a schoolgirl and her own pet trained at home - could pull that off.unique and enchanting act off. There's no way the dog could be used to all those screaming people and stage distractions, what a marvel.

Personally, I thought all the singers were weak, including Jonathan and Charlotte. Yes, they are young, but they are simply nowhere near the standard of, say, the 3 teenage boys in Il Volo, who came off Italian TV and have sung all over the world. Very pleased Malakai was not put through to the final, I think the producers took into account the toll it was taking on him. I know now a lot of people voted for him but he was out of his depth and not enjoying it all like the other young singers, he appeared traumatized by the ordeal and the rejection, If he's any good he can wait 5 years when he's old enough to deal with it.

I can't remember any of the others but going by the last semi-final yes. These statistics show Callum Oakely in fourth place, and he was also the last one standing before Billy George completed the top three.

So Callum Oakley was just outside the top 3, but look at the difference in semi final 2!

Happy Ashleigh and Pudsey won by such a high margin. Great line-up of talent last night though.

That winning % is huge when you consider there was 11 acts, 40% out of 11 is massive.

Different semi`s, different opponents, so you cant really compare, although saying that i do agree with what you are saying with regards to nu sxool, i thought the best dance act of the semi finals by a country mile was the twist and pulse dance company(maybe i am a little biased in the fact i loved the original duo 2 years ago and wanted them to win, damn you spellbound ), i didnt see anything interesting in nu sxool`s act, what made me laugh, they went in consecutive semi`s, simon criticised twist and pulse for having too many songs in their routine, yet told nu sxool the music choices where great, even though they had at least 4 more songs play thru their act
