Does anyone else find it odd that all of the finalist where quite young with the oldest being aquabatique 21-28 (not counting the Conductor of only boys aloud).

It's not that relevant, it's the talent that matters.

I think it was better this year than it has been in previous years, sometimes it feels there are far too many children, but this year they were mainly late teens/ over 16

That was partly the reason Britain's Got Talent was so good this year. It showed the youth of today in such a different light.
They were all fantastic, it was the best ever BGT in my opinion.
Last night on BBC 2 we had the Young Musician Of The Year 2012 finalists and they were brilliant too.

You can't sell old people to tweenie and that's the goal of this whole show.

The only other people who buy stuff from this programme are parents and grannies besotted with little kid singers who cry their eyes old.

So the only acts that Simon allows through are Teenage singers for the tweenies, little brats for the grannies and parents and an animal act for the family.

If you are old, it doesn't matter how talented you are, you won't be getting anywhere.
