Ben Fogle
This thread was inspired by seeing his name at 13 in the 'annoying celebs' thread.
Ever since Castaway 2000, I have enjoyed watching/following his career and really like the man. He is quite fearless and has achieved loads of commendable things in his career and imho is a likeable character and does not merit derision.  Your thoughts? |

He gets a double thumbs up from me too. He's done some amazing things and is a generally nice guy. A little bumbling but that's what's endearing about him
Met him at crufts and he was lovely in person too |

My son met him at the cafe at the top of the Cairngorms, spoke to him and had his picture taken with him, he said he was a very friendly guy.

I always used to think he was a bit of a bumbling idiot, until I watched 'On Thin Ice'...........oh my lord, what a total legend. His mental and physical strength were amazing, particularly in comparison to James Cracknell, without Ben, James would never have made it.

I like him. Seems as nice as his mum seems and probably his dad as well who's a vet. Good presenter and has achieved a lot as well. Can't see why he'd be thought annoying.

Looks as though many of us are in agreement that far from being an annoying celeb, he is an all round decent, hard-working, likeable guy.
Really glad that I am not the only one who was disappointed to see him making an appearance in 'that' list. |

BF recently was the victim of a spiked drink, which obviously isn't funny, but the exaggerated related newspaper headlines sort of are ... Even better was the original Yahoo headline that caught my eye: "Ben Fogle's LSD rampage" - but they seem to have changed it for some reason...
