Basically, this is my crazy new idea to create a game which starts and finish in the same day! Have you always wanted to partake in a game but you've always been too busy to commit to a full show? Well, this is for you and everyone who wants to be involved.

The show (obviously) will last 10 hours and will run from 9:00am until 7:00pm! Their won't be a fixed panel for the day because I'm not expecting anyone will be willing to do a full day. The day will be split like this...

09:00-11:00 Heat 1 (10 acts perform)
11:00-13:00 Heat 2 (10 acts perform) + Voting results of Heat 1 will be announced at 12:30-ish.
13:00-15:00 Heat 3 (10 acts perform) + Voting results of Heat 2 will be announced at 14:30-ish.
15:00-17:00 Heat 4 (10 acts perform) + Voting results of Heat 3 will be announced at 16:30-ish.
17:00-18:45 The FINAL! (8 acts - the top two from each heat will re-perform) + Voting results of Heat 4 will be announced at 18:00 for the final two acts to perform.
18:45-19:00 The FINAL RESULTS! The winner is announced.

I will host throughout the day but I will need a fresh panel of four judges for each heat and then four willing to return for the final. Plus two Creative Directors who will put together the performances for all the acts. Just to recap...

at least 16 judges (though some can do more than one heat if they want to and therefore less needed)
2 Creative Directors
Can you register an interest below and the time slot if you would like to judge or say whether you want to be a Creative Director. You can also do both if you want to! Thanks!

Sounds like a whole lot to go through. But it is very tempting...count me in registered. I can do any of the time slots on any heat. Or if need be, I can do more than one heat no problem.

I love this idea! But I have one question, who will be the contestants?

I think you'll struggle to make this work if I'm honest.

I've seen games that have gone worse before and this hasn't started yet.

Thanks to 21stCenturyBoy we've got all our Creative Directors.

Creative Directors: pothuthic and 21stCenturyBoy
Judges so far: Soppyfan
Obviously still need more judges to fill the four every two hours. I'd also be happy if they wanted to do more than one slot.

In my experience 21st is pretty unreliable when it comes to games (he completely ignored the existence of one he agreed to take part in about a month ago), so he's a risky casting

TBH, I'd disagree. Obviously you're quite bitter for some odd reason about him not taking part in DS Apprentice, maybe in the end I wouldn't have blamed in, but remember it's also exam period which is why some people may be out, and he also is running a successful Strictly game as well as taking part in every Eurovision contest, so unreliable? I'd think not.

With all respect to 21CB, I wouldn't say him taking part in every Eurovision contest necessary represents his reliability.

And, also, lets not forget when he joined NTA and 'forgot' to vote, every single show until his act went out. Despite being online at the time & being PM'ed songlists...

Just saw this, and It's a pity all the creative director slots have been taken already, I would have LOVED that!

Anyway, if you could provide me with some more info on what the judges do exactly and when you want to do this marathon I might sign up as a judge in order to keep my mentoring skills sharp after missing out on NTA #4.

The judges are effectively the BGT judging style. They will offer their praise/criticism and select the second act to go through to the final. It's pretty much a turn up on the day thing. All the mentoring work is for the Creative Directors.

Ooh, even less work.

In that case, count me in for one or both of the later rounds!
