I think the Military Wives was clearly a special case. It was probably much more about the cause and their "journey" (I hate that expression) than the music. That's not to discredit the music, but their audience obviously connected on an emotional level more than anything.

Only Boys Aloud are just another choir. I can't see them topping the charts.

I'm pleased about all these. I'll definitely buy Only Boys Aloud's and the Lovable Rogues' albums. Might buy Jonathan and Charlotte's as well, even though the music isn't really my thing.

I wonder if Only Boys Aloud will appeal to those who buy music based on the looks of who is singing it? Not meaning to be sneery with this remark, it's just an observation.

As was said before, that's how ordinary lads look rather than the handpicked pretty boys who appear on X Factor.
