Agreed. I think BGT needs a couple of year's break now. This year was abysmal.

So which would I prefer, to sit and watch a harmless and very enjoyable couple of hours of entertainment on a saturday evening with my family, or be all negative and pessimistic and post on a forum about how rubbish everything is.

Mmmmmm.

I think we deserve quality entertainment. I have better ways of spending an evening rather than watching a bunch of third-rate "talent" being talked up in a desparate attempt to justify the programme's title.

One mans meat is another mans poison.

I thought it was "quality entertainment", no one is forcing you to watch it so why complain when 15 million people did....

Which TV variety show were you on then?

I just watch it for what it is...........a bit of light entertainment that sometimes makes me laugh, sometimes I cringe at the acts. But, fair play if they have the courage to go on stage and do whatever act they do, good on them imo.

For my own part I didn't really mind who won, although I did like The Loveable Rogues..........I must admit as much as I love dance I am getting a bit fed up of all the dance acts (not implying they weren't any good of course) and the singing acts actually. I thought it made a refreshing change for an act other than those to win.

So yes, well done to the dog LOL! (and Ashleigh of course).

LOL.
I was not 'supposedly' entertained by the dancing dog. I loved it!
I am usually quite critical of BGT, however this years final was full of talent and yet I still wanted Ashley and Pudsey to win as it was different and thoroughly entertaining.
I think you need to move on from 50 years ago dear.

After winning the show I suspect saying 'caviar' is more appropriate LOL!

I honestly thought the dog act was put through to piss Simon off . £500,000 to a dog now that's funny . Apparently though it was supposed to be serious
