Apologies if there has already been a thread on this, but I wondering what songs when they came on the radio, videos or even single/albums/cd covers used to scare you when you were younger. For me I can remember being scared of the following
1) Ultravox - Vienna - think it is because it sound eerie and I thought it sounded like someones heart beating throughout it
2) Kate Bush - Wuthering Heights - apparently when it came on the radio my parents used to say I would freeze and stop whatever I was doing
3) Kate Bush - Babooshka, think both the video and song, anything with the sound of a glass smashing on it
4) Its my Party - can't remember who sang it, but it was really early 80s. I remember my cousin having the single and I am sure if I am not mistaken that the single cover showed a man in a mask and a woman with these really long overgrown finger nails - that used to scare me.
5) Laurie Anderson - O Superman. Even now that song is too weird for me to listen to
Oh by the way you may have gathered by the song choices that I am over 30. Happy to hear other choices whether it be videos, songs, single/album/cd covers etc
