That made me laugh out loud at work It's so true though.

Engelbert's song has to be one of the most dull songs I have ever heard!

This version (not destroyed by RTÉ sound engineer and/or backing singers:

I dont love or hate the song, im not sure how it fits into Eurovision. It is the kind of song that i think will either go top 5 or bottom 5, there will be no mid placing.

Jedward will sail through to the final and finish around the same position as last year as they have the fan base no.

This is amazing. Sweden really deserve a win this year. Every year they put in tons of effort and tend not to get anywhere.

Ours is surely our best effort in a number of years, but that first placing on the running order will damage us.

My goodness I have only just heard this been away and had not realised it was tomorrow, the UK has no chance of winning, Irelands song however is so catchy if it was not for the politics I would place a bet on this!

I think Sweden will do well with their Nordic neighbours and western Europe, but elsewhere... No.

Our entry is perfectly nice but drab.

it's at no 64 in the singles chart a shame a really good song does anyone else agree that if love will set you free was a proper ballad i.e with piano & strings would stand a better chance I love the guitar but wondered if it's too stripped back for eurovision jedward will have to get through the semi finals before they make it to the final think they will.
Sweden & poland have very good entries greece & italy's entries are rubbish.

I hated it at first but now think its our strongest for a while. Never like any of our entries usually.
Mind you he needn;t go all out to try and hit the big note at the end. Just for effect i think.

Best entry in years.

Will get loads if points from the juries and I predict a mid table placing in the televoting.(if blue were 5th in the televote this deserves to win it)

I predict a 5-10 finish. Sweden will romp it I think

It's as boring as anything by Westlife, Boyzone, Take That or any bland, middle-of-the-road act.

I must be missing something, but Humperflump and this song are just dire.

Water-biscuit, anyone?

Has anyone else notice how much it sounds like With You I'm Born Again by Billy Preston and Syreeta Wright?

What are your thoughts? I know Eurovision is political but could this song get us a high mark? I love it.

Sweden will win it.

Can anyone remember the edition of Father Ted when Ireland wanted to put the worst song for Ireland through because it was too expensive to host Eurovision if they won?
I can't help but think that this is why Englebert Humberdink was chosen.

They'll do much better than Engilbert bloomin' Humperdink though.

I agree, as a song its our best in years..... its quite natural sounding in voice and acoustic backing...reminds me of an adele song strangely ..top 10 finish i predict... i was amazed by his proessionalism on G Norton`s show.... i guess i agree with those who say he is a professional singer... very accomplished. All credit to him.

I think it's a nice song, especially by Eurovision standard. I hope he gets a good position on the leader board as I think we deserve it this year. I fear with us getting the "death slot" of first performance of the night we wouldn't stand a chance even if we sent Adele! Can't help but feel the year we send a really big name who is a polished performer and then get given the death slot is all a bit of a set up.
