Britney Question
I personally think her performance ability has progressively deteriorated throughout the conservatorship, if you look at the mannequin rehearsal then the performance during the circus tour – there’s a big discrepancy. Also, if you look at the way she performed during the femme fatale promo compared to circus, it makes the circus era look like her early days! The same goes for interviews etc, that documentary she did detailing her lower points in life was really honest but now she comes across as if she can’t connect to anyone at all.

Her performances have deffo deteriorated in my opinion; in fact I was actually very, very angry when I went to the Femme Fatale. It was like some middle aged women had climbed onto the stage and was trying to copy some moves she had seen on TV. I was furious that I had paid for 2 £55 tickets (because I actually brought them before she had to give them away bogof or half price to get people to actually go) and she seemed to be putting no effort in what so ever.
About a quater way through though I enjoyed it for what it was and had a good time; but will never ever pay to see her live again. |

I'll make no allowances for her lipsynching, as although it doesn't bother me I know how much some people hate it and fair enough.
But in regards to her dancing - even though she's not as good as she was I do think she's still the best dancer out of the popstars we have. She's one of few who actually execute proper dance moves alongsides choreography with some sense of fluidity. I just think it's confidence issues. As seen by her lack of interviews, stage presence and fully letting go when she performs like she used to. Oh, and I think she's too overprocted. One fan said that they spoke to her boyfriend Jason outside Britney's hotel following a show on the FF tour the night before and she'd gotten a really bad review in a German newspaper I think, and Jason was there with Larry her manager and they both said they weren't going to show her the bad reviews she'd got. So maybe she realizes that she doesn't go as hard in her performances, but following VMA 2007s, her team let her think everything's wonderful so maybe she still believes that she's doing as well as she used to...

Sorry, my question was meant to be 'do others agree with this?' and what are the reasons why?

you could almost compare her life to the "truman show" she has basically grown up in front of a camera and by now probably has a very warped perception of reality

It's very sad regarding Britney. Really sad. She had people muck her around. Control her. Mess with her mind. People used her. I believe Kevin Federline messed and preyed on her. She was slowly going through a breakdown before she met him because Everytime for me was really her pre-breakdown song.
