For each and everyone interested, Alexandra has published 30 sec snippets of all songs on Amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Heartbreak-O...7108697&sr=8-4

I'd encourage you all to preorder the most iconic generic album of the year (at least before Cheryl's album is released:P)

omg What Money Can't Buy sounds AMAZINGLY beautiful.

I loved Elephant & Let it Go but I really think there are gonna be some stronger singles in the upcoming months based on these samples!

Alexandra wrote that track when she was 18, can't wait to hear the full version. It sounds beautiful...

I know!! As much as I love Elephant there were much better choices for lead single.

I know it's too early to say this but I think we are about to get the most brilliant pop efford of any post-X Factor contestant.
I really hope she's gonna get her number one spot with Let It GO and t\Heratstring On Hold because she clearly deserves it. She deserves it much more than second JLS or Leona albums which were hit-and-miss (at least to me).

Liked Alex's song ANL and BH but these songs are too similar in sound tbh.

Was hoping for much better especially since she has apparently worked with Stargate, where are those tracks?

Stargate's tracks are on the album but he is not the golden kid of music - he's had plenty of hits but also some misses. Just hoping the misses are not on the album - we have to wait for the full songs to judge them because snippets are so irrelevant.

It's funny, I've been reading a lot of comments about the album sounding too 'samey', but what happened to pop acts having a cohesive album? One with a definitive sound? The likes of Adele and Emeli Sande are doing it, but it's very rare you have British pop act who has a full body of work which sounds like it all belongs together - usually you get about 7 different genres on one album so the singles appeal to multiple demographics, I really like the fact that she's brought the entire sound together.
Reminds me of the likes of MJ, when he said that an album should be like a piece of classical music and each song should be a 'movement' in that piece.

It sounds like one of those cheap Ibiza compilation CDs they advertise on 4Music during off-peak hours

She could do so much better.

The voice of reason. Thank you.

I did think the last track sounded interesting, but that's it.

But you generally prefer ballads anyway.

When she does do better, you'll be constantly moaning that she's trying too hard to be Emeli sande, Whitney Houston or Adele. It's inevitable.

I like all kinds of music. I like 'songs' as opposed to 'tunes'.

Nothing's inevitable. I even admitted to liking a Jessie J song once and believe me I didn't see that one coming.

This isn't the same Alexandra Burke that won X Factor. She doesn't need to hide behind all the studio vocal effects and trickery that will date this music within a year or two.

Hopefully she will make a more organic, vocal-led, quality album next time with real songs as opposed to dance tracks that any number of anonymous session singers could sing.

Fire, Oh La La, Tonight and Daylight Robbery sound the best from the snippets (potential singles).
What Money Can't Buy sounds beautiful too
