Considering the high ratings the trilogy is drawing on BBC does anyone else think that it is about time the films came out on DVD? Does anybody know the future release dates for the trilogy?

according to a report i read, Steven Spieldberg is reported to off said "you have more chance of Indy 4 than it on DVD anytime soon" and as we know Indy 4 is just waiting on Paramount giving money to the film, they have all singed on and just need the green light.

I think 2004-2006 is when we might get them, though i agree they would be great on DVD maybe a box-set with indy 1,2,3 plus special features and all the Young Indy films for £60.

I had heard similar. In that as George Lucas has to be involved, he is working on Star Wars 2 & 3 then reworked 4 to 6 only then will he look at doing Indy.
However may move forward if we get the 4th film, although this did not work for Star Wars.

Is lucas working on the dvds of 4 - 6? Why doesn't he hand over 3 to LOTR director (sorry - forgot name - flog me now ) and get on with collaborating on what would be a massive hit!

I just feel that i'll be watching it on some holographic / interactive format by the time they get round to it!

On another note - has anyone seen the phantom edit? is it any good?

Maybe 'The bearded One' (Mr Lucas) hasn't heard of 'delegation'.

I would of thought there are more younger, brighter, saner people at LucasFilm who could proabably do a better job than him on the Indy & Star Wars DVDs.
