(4 loses on the trot now) But that's enough about football I'll get back to discussing radio, I'll second what someone has already queried where's Mark Saggers got to? is he ill because he's been missing too long for a holiday.

Ronnie was blasting people on twitter that send vile abuse this past week, "Inform them at Twitter Al, and also report it to the police" is what Ron reckons and added, "These people are keyboard warriors and wouldn't have the guts to say it to your face" he's probably right in Ronnie's case with him being 6ft 14" have a body like Charles Atlas, be a black-belt in Karate, Kung Fu, kick boxing, Jiu-Jitsu and ex champion 10 year undefeated bare-knuckle prize fighter, basically Ronnie's a one-man killing-machine so watch out you abusers. (by the way Ronnie secretly I've always loved you and you are so good on the radio too)

How many more shows can they cram Jason Cundy on?, he's there more hours than the talkSPORT studio cat, yes he's better on-air away from the infantile Goldstein but just right now it's too much to take hearing on all the time. Alan Brazil - I really wish he'd come out with it during a show (to be fair on him he usually does with these things) - and say what he really thinks about Richard Keys getting all his old freebie days out to talkSPORT attended events that HE used to get. Ronnie tries to bait him over it but up to now he's managing to keep it bottled inside (just) when he does finally sound-off about it it's gonna be a great listen.

Liverpool v Utd on next, I'll go for 1-1.
Championship is a crazy league, bottom beat top regularly and every team are capable of beating anyone home or away, I said in the footy forum I think your team will finish mid table.

Collymore: "No place in football for sick chants, and if I see it at any football ground I report it! Disgusting behavior! I didn't see anything today, but rumors are (rumors, hmmmmmm, must be that pathetic thing called twatter then? ) that somebody was arrested for making airplane gestures........BUT if you want to phone in and defend sick chants, please call us on..............

Classssssssssssssssic talksport!

Controversy = Money money money money money. It's not about the great goals or the great bits of skill, or even the sport as such, its all about the controversy on and of the pitch for talksport, it gives them days upon days to talk about that same thing, and gets the gullible callers biting and then phoning in-in there droves red faced.

Such a shame really, but thats how they work, they're the wrag and sky sports of the airwaves as somebody once said to me before!

Once Joey Barton hangs his boots up, they'll be at hand and foot to get him on talksport as a presenter, when Savage has had enough at the BBC, he'll be brought over to, arguments equal £££ and Savage has had fiery "run-ins" with a few of the talksport crew, but you can put money on it! Just look at Key's and Gray, the station were all over that scandal, scum of the earth they were, and then it all changed when they turned up at the station for the mid morning slot. Moz Dee - "Taking a new direction."

Talksport - "We'll say what we want! We'll say what we waaaaaannnnnnnnt, and when we get dow, we'll contradict ourselves like idioooooots"......and we don't care.

The real "oh dear" here is yourself. Calling people "strange" because they gave a point of view of what they had listened to. When its perfectly fine for you to do so, but thats not "strange" is it? Nooooooooooooo

Defending talksport at almost every opportunity, quick to be at anybody who has a bad or critical word about the station. Down to anybody who believes in a better product, down to anybody who has an idea about talkradio. Is that all your here to do? "Play down"

Walk on pal, if it was a nonsensical rant, and you filtered/cherry picked through one of my previous "rants", so you can reply to a little bit out of all of the post, if it was nonsensical, and other posts have mine have been to.

Then why are you reading my nonsensical rants and commenting nearly every time? eh?

"I don't really care much.".....OBVIOUSLY, you do.

Now do you think it is possible to remain on topic, and be a bit grown up, instead of polluting another forum/thread as seen everywhere else, lets talk about this wonderful radio station we all have the pleasure of listening to! Shall we?

I read the Talksport thread because i listen to Talksport.

Its hardly Columbo material is it?

Carry on insulting me, carry on working yourself into a frenzy, whatever gets you through the day.

Oh look, here we have the old defensive mechanism kicking in children, watch how it curls up and spikes outwards to protect itself from the big bad man who has insulted everyone and anyone, that is of course, solely according to the animal that has gone defensive.

I read this thread, because I listen to talksport. And I will say it how I see it, funnily enough, others DO agree with me and share the opinion (That really gets up your nose doesn't it!) so likewise, as you say, you do also, so why are you defensive when somebody has an alternative viewpoint?

I stumbled across this thread searching for peoples view when current affairs was done away with overnights. This thread, and this alone, made me register and account to talk with these like minded people, I have zero interest in visiting the rest of this site or its other forums, as I have been told by many people who have bumped across this site, that there are many people like yourself on here. That may be true, it may be not, but as I don't visit anywhere else, I won't hold you to that. He who has not sinned shall cast the first stone, and all that.

So I will remain and talk with those that see eye to eye, which is obviously not yourself, so I'd kindly ask you to not use your energy to read my comments or opinions, therefore you protect yourself from this big bad man and dont cause any confrontation in this thread. There is no need for it, we have an opinion and we are a loud to air it, if you don't like mine, don't read a single letter of my posts from this point onwards. I shall do the same.

Cheers.

You aren't "talking", you are ranting.

Its a radio station.

I will use my energy as i see fit. You have put your rantings in the public domain so i can comment if i so desire.

Its funny that if people don't agree with you you don't want them to comment at all. Why is that?

I can only imagine the perma-rage that will occur in your household if something that actually matters was to happen. On this scale a power-cut must result in deaths.

Surely you have to talk before you can rant? Besides, at this specific moment in time your the only one with any objection to what I say, after all, (get ready for the usual childish response) you started it, by insinuating it was "strange" for somebody to give a critical opinion on a hour or twos listening of the show. Then proceeded to talk down and stereotype. I feel sick saying, "you started it", but it is indeed fact, replying to only bits and bobs, or should I say, cherry picking, what to reply to, what tickles your personal fantasy.

Don't worry, your not the first, and by god, you won't be the last. I'm experienced in many like you over the internet, but unlike real life, you don't have to exist to me here, I can skip past you and read onwards. It would be healthier for you to do that same thing, rather than continue something on page after page after page, especially when your complaining about somebody else doing the same thing you have done, but of your preference.

In your estimation, equally, we can take your support of talksport, defensive nature and constant explaining of it "doesn't work"....."you can't do that, read this blog" as ranting also.

You said you don't really care.

The fact of the matter is, whether you like it or not, people do share the same opinion as me, and do agree with what I say. Whether you like it or not, that is the way it is, an awful lot of people I speak to, share this opinion, and have taken action by reducing what they intake from the station, these people listened to the station quite a lot, now because of the changes, keep that to a bare minimum. Because fundamentally the product is obviously not as good as it can be, either for me, or you, or anybody else. I'm not just talking for myself here.

I'll say it again, a presenter earlier in the day on the popular after match phone in (who I actually don't mind) said it was disgusting behavior from fans to sing these vile sick and offensive chants, of which I totally agree! 100%! But the same presenter and station welcomes those same people to call in and defend something, that in all honesty, is indefensible, all for controversy, "argument balance", and fuel for fire.

So, you tell me, precisely, how is what I said wrong? And how is that not a hypocritical stance to take from the station and tell me, please, why talksport doesn't thrive of controversy and controversial subjects?

It quite clearly breeds it and loaths it, it IS the station. It is controversial, it does push the buttons, but in doing it, a lot of the time it is downright hypocritical and contradictive. It's like the man who want's peace and no war, but encourages just the opposite in the name of £££

I disagree with you, I think Terry is a very good CB, I know he's not the fastest but he will but his body on the line, I like that in a defender.

Place your bets for Durhams view!

I reckon - John Terry is a WORLD CLASS footballer, this isn't Titus Bramble we're talking about here, this man, this legend, this Champions League winner is a wonderful human being as well and Roy Hodgson should be on the phone to John straight away to beg him to stay!!!! Terry is loved all around the world by fans and fellow players a like! He hasn't put one foot wrong in his entire life, either on the pitch or of it, He was cleared and it is absolutely true that he is not a racist, I can safely say he called Anton Ferdinand a "Lovely boy" and not that rumored nonsense. The country want to make an example, and John is the scapegoat here. England need heroes like John and by letting him retire, we will certainly not be winning that World Cup in Brazil.

Gosh I feel sick now! How must Durham feel everyday?!?

On a more serious note, folks, Terry and his crew of lawyers and reps ain't stupid. It's win-win for Terry, mark my words, it aint over till its over, the ball is in his court, if FA take it further he'll sue them for everything they've got, because of the result he had in a court of law. If the FA bow down (which they probably will) out of apology for planning to take it further, they'll beg him to stay and play for England, especially his number one fan Mr Hodgson.

I reckon the later will happen.

Exactly, if he's not guilty in a court of law, the FA would be better off dropping the whole thing.

I'm disappointed he's retired early from international football he was/is a good player and his fight and endeavour was second to none for the cause. I think because he was found not guilty in a court of law that should have been the end of it and it really looks to me like he's jumped in first before the FA hearing and said stuff the damn lot of you.
Tuned into talkCOMMERCIALS this morning expecting Mr Brazil and his pet labrador to be all over it like a rash but they didn't seem to be, mind you I only caught a snatch.

Huge satisfaction to be taken from Peterborough's start, purely because of Durham, LONG may this continue, it's wonderful, after a game you just know he walks over to the corner and sobs quietly.

Also, is talksport all this week just gonna bombard us with advertising about a football game coming out? In the ad-breaks, and in the shows.

As for Terry, he may have been found "not guilty" in a court of law, their law, their court, court and law is never about getting the right decision 100% of the time, neither is it really here for justice. It's big business, anybody who has been in court for the most stupid small things, will tell you this. John Terry is not the blue eyed perfect human being some people think he is, he gets no respect from the people in his profession who play against him, and it's not exactly the first time either!!! As for his trophy filled England career, the man should have been on the first plane back, along with Rooney in South Africa, and never to play for England again, look how long ago that was!

It's who he is of the pitch, not necessarily on it, that people don't like him for, time and time again. Just ask our Craig!

Durham making light of Posh's current position is just a tactical defence strategy, he is gutted really. If it was your team in that position he would slagging them off and calling them rubbish............What a Good day to Email the show, if I have time later I will.

Funny thing is, he was slagging them of left right and center, and somehow, (how they did it, I don't know) they managed to get the owner, chairmen, board member, boss, whoever it was on, to say their piece. All that slagging of Durham did, all went quieter when he phoned in.

I've never actually contributed to the station, as in phoning in, texting, or emailing, but I think it needs to be said, it's time for "The Daily Posh"......."The Daily Arsenal" doesn't work when Arsenal are challenging at the top and looking like the best Arsenal team defensively that I've seen in a long while, and are potent up front with that magician Cazorla. League winning material if they keep it up, they outplayed us at Anfield, and outplayed Man City at the Etihad. Potent up top and solid at the back, Arsenal need to be mid table for the repetitive monotonous "Daily Arsenal" to work.......and I'm not even an Arsenal fan, how long have they been doing this, 2 years now? Does anybody at the station use their brains? It's all very samey.
