Oh, I think I'll go and see her this time. I've not seen her live before but I do like her. I favour her first two albums but she's still had some great singles since then, like Stronger, and I bet she's awesome live.

Does anyone know if she is only selling half the arena at Birmingham. I'm on pre-sale (THANK YOU Everything Goes) and the closest you can get is Block 5.

Yay, got Wembley tickets. It'll be my 2nd concert in the arena having seen Frank Turner there last month. So excited!

Does anyone know the answer to this?
I'm on the presale page at the moment and the seats you can choose seem quite far away from the stage, as if the ones they're selling are centred around the other end of the arena. Will the seats closer to the stage be made available after presale?
I'm a complete rookie at this!

For what its worth I got tickets in a presale for The Saturdays a while back and the seats were quite poor (upper tier at back of hall).

I guess the it depends on how the promoter decides to release them. They may keep better seats back for other allocations. It seems a bit hit or miss.

Thanks for such a speedy reply! I have never bought tickets before, I usually let my Mum do it for me so I don't mess up and she knows what shes doing, the seats they offer are closer to the other end of the room than the stage, I'd sooner book standing and go with that I think, do you think I should wait until 9AM to see if the other seats become available from ticketmaster?

Its a bit of a gamble either way. If you don't like the seats you have been offered then you may get better ones but you never know.

When ordering mine I had a choice of back of the hall seated or standing which gives me a chance to get near the front of the stage if I go early. So I went with standing.

Ticketmaster usually shows you the seating plan so you can get an idea of the hall layout.

I've got my Birmingham tickets - Block 5 - which is half way down the arena but was the closest tickets you could buy both on pre-order and normal sale, so I think and am hoping she's only doing half the arena and not do a Tine Tempah where she sells the back half first!

I tried ticketmaster and they immediately offered me block 5, so it sounds like half the arena because surely its impossible that the top ones were already sold?! I went onto ticketfactory and got Block 14, which is only marginally better, just imagining if she does a half arena and I'm practically behind her.

Looking on many sites it did seem it was only going to be half the arena, the best seats you could buy even on presale were in the bottom half of the arena.

HOWEVER I then looked on getmein.com and the site has got tickets for the whole front half of the arena and you have to pay double the price (or more, some Block 3 tickets are 300 quid!!!) These seats were never on any other sites - not Ticketmaster, not Ticketfactory, not gigsandtours.com nor available on presale. Where did they get all those front half tickets from? They must have got them before the tour was even on fan presale; which is supposed to get you the best seats, this time however it didn't even give you chance to be in the first half of the damn arena!

Totally unfair.

Urgh thats a complete joke. When I went to see Britney Spears at the same arena someone else bought the tickets for me and I had Standing, while the whole experience was great it was agonising standing around for an hour beforehand just to make sure we weren't stuck in the back and then by the second half of the show I was dying to sit down! I knew I'd enjoy Kelly Clarkson so much more if I could sit for the hour before she comes on and comfortably enjoy it.

On the brightside we probably got the best possible seats for the most reasonable price, as unfair as it seems!

Woohoo!! I bought mine yesterday for Sheffield and I am literally counting down the seconds because I adore Kelly!! And I've heard she is amazing live! word of advice though: on ticketmaster we could only find seated tickets however I rang the arena and asked to get as close to the stage as possible and they said they had loads of standing tickets!!

Probably straight from Ticketmaster. Getmein are the "legalised touting" arm of Ticketmaster. Not just Kelly either, went for Rush tickets for the o2 yesterday, bang on 9.00 the 'best available' floor tickets were blocks C and D,got a seat on the level 1 tier in a block where I've sat before so know I'll still have a good view, but then found all the A and B block floor seats under 'official platinum tickets' at two and three times face value!

I've got standing tickets for the Wembley date with my friend. Can't wait!

I saw her in 2010 on her All I Ever Wanted Tour and her voice was fantastic, really powerful. Anybody who hasn't already seen her - you're in for a treat.

Hmm, very strange from what it sounds like that she's only selling half the arena - for now.

Whenever I've been to concerts, i've always known them to let you sit in the best place possible kinda thing. Although, when I book, I prefer to stand. I only sit when there are no standing left.

Saw Kelly live in 2005 on the Breakaway tour and she was AAMAZING. If you haven't seen her before like others have said, you're in for a big treat.

Booked myself tickets for me and my friend for Birmingham, standing. If anyone's going look out for us, we'll be wearing personalised t-shirts saying "Kelly Clarkson makes us stronger" because we're geeks and BIG BIG fans :P
