Probably just me that finds this a worrying development you all seem happy to accept results predefined by what apple thinks acceptable hey-ho”

the only people that will see this answer are iPhone 4S users, so in reality it really is a non-story.

if you don't have an iPhone 4S then there is nothing to worry about.

also, anyone that does use SIRI to gather facts really needs to worry about other stuff in their life!

Why are you saying all iphone users have the same blase attitude as you to internet freedoms then?

Oh dear what?

Today, Wolfram Alpha is listing the HTC Trophy as the 'best' smartphone. Are you seriously going to argue that answer is reliable?

will be interesting to see what Samsung's S-Voice system gives as a result to that question.

every search engine is skewed and results are altered to suit. if you don't believe that then you need to open your eyes.

Or perhaps you chose not to want to see it perhaps.

As I just pointed out above, Wolfram Alpha are listing the HTC Trophy as the 'best' smartphone today, once again based on Best Buy user reviews.

Do you really consider a very small number of Best Buy user reviews to be a reliable source for answers?

SIRI is technically just a search engine, albeit it uses several sources for results.

bottom line is, if you don't have access to SIRI then you have nothing to worry about.

just to be clear, would you rather SIRI gave inaccurate results based on Wolfram Alpha and best buy, or give no answer at all?

Yes but AGAIN the results gained from this search engine have been changed by a company not liking the result.

I honestly and truely find peoples attitude towards this very disturbing.

I honestly could care less and anyone who takes siri results as gospel is a fool ... however and I keep saying this the results gained from this engine are not the issue ... the fact they have been manipulated to serve a compant agenda is.

Google do the same. Are you as equally worried about that? Or is this a personal Apple gripe you have?

You don't have an iPhone 4S or have access to SIRI, calm down, stop worrying and move on with your life.

You can only lose a debate if there are two points of view with merit unfortunately you seem incapable of making one.

I am sure being referred to as dozy with regard to this issue is not the worst insult you have ever received is it? I would be truly amazed if that were the case

Because google do the same thing.
If your search term yields results which include any google services or google websites, then quite often google will then go and put those results at the top. In your words, changing the results given by the search because they are not happy with them.
