You always promise I'm on your ignore list never turns out to be true I do hope so this time.

Your problem is you have deep seated issues about apple every time they are criticisd you take it as a personal attack on you, I suspect it is born from your need to justify your choice.

(Un)luckily for you, there is a View Post button where I can still see the drivel you post, occasionally. You will remain on my ignore list for as long as it takes for you to be a respected poster. So, ever, really.

I have my own criticisms about Apple actually, its not all green grass and pretty flowers, but I don't need to justify anything to you or anyone else. What I decide is my own decision and has nothing to do with any allegiances. I purchase items because they do what I need to do at the time of purchasing. It's the same with games consoles, TV's, and mobile phones.

No, I don't take anything bad said against Apple as an attack on me, I never have, but when one makes what one thinks is a valid point and the post just gets ignored by yourself in order to be condescending and insulting, that's rude. All you ever do is attempt to take some sort of undeserved moral high ground whenever someone says anything "pro-Apple" which for some reason you take to mean you can selectively quote or take out of context peoples comments and try to use them to your own advantage.

it's a bit like family really. i can criticise my wife but if you do i will beat you.

what is odd is, i don't understand why anything that could be interpreted as a criticism of apple illicits such a familial response.

this thread in particular is not a criticism of apple it is a discussion of the issues involved. but not withstanding this the apple fans poor in and spout mindbending logic defying nonsense in indefatigable support of their partner.

't'is odd.

The thread itself may not have appeared to be an anti-Apple thread however it certainly was intended that way, and it is not really a discussion of the issues involved, is it?

Condescension, and perhaps an insult directed at an Apple user? (BiB)

A really good po... no wait... condescension.

See where this is going? Why can some people not discuss the issue in hand like a grown up rather than retorting to not listening or discussing anyone's points they have brought up, rather than repeating the original post with added rudeness and insults? This is not a discussion, this is not a debate, this is a thread to get people who own iPhone's to reply so that Swordman can ignore what they say and be a condescending little... you can continue that sentence how you would like.

I do not have a familial response when it comes to Apple. There are plenty of criticisms around which I strongly agree with - however when certain forum users spend their time on here belittling people for their choice of phone then I'm sure people will get defensive.

It's worth noting, this isn't just in relation to this thread. It's in relation to pretty much everything Swordman has ever posted in the Mobile Phones forum.

Wow that must have taken you a while to do that is real dedication to the apple cause and has to be applauded. Haven't read it but I can guess what it says and will simply say all are justified responses to posts similar to yours.

I have no intention of making this a everyone hates apple your all mean thread that you usually turn this into so if you just put me back on block be much appreciated.

Google can do exactly the same. They can, and do, move you up and down search results as they see fit, usually motivated by money.

Yup. Yet when Apple do it, not to make more money (since you've already bought their phone) people go ape!

Has anyone else come across this with Siri?

I turned on English (United States) and asked "what's the traffic like at 1 Infinite Loop Cupertino." It came back and said "here's the traffic..." launched Google Maps but showed the traffic in and around Derby where I live.

It'll be interesting to see if Apple will copy Samsung and allow Siri to access the camera etc.
