How can you say customer reviews are biased? Whatever it is, I know that customer reviews are reliable. I wonder what is biased from what I just wrote. Or is it the magic motion control I talked about? If you must know, I got a similar LG Smart TV in my home and for your information, the magic motion works like a mouse.

I agree with Boothy....If you rely on the recommendations from forums like this you deserve all you get if the TV is not to your liking.
By all means use it as a general guide to find several models for you to go and sample before buying and always read the tech reviews to help narrow it down. Personally I don't care what model or brand of equipment people buy. I'll give an opinion on anything I am familiar with, but, it is always just that, my opinion. |

I guess both uses active glasses and you can only get two pairs of active glasses when you purchase one of the brands. Then what will you do when 3 or 4 friends visit your home to watch 3D movies? That means you’ve got to buy 2 more expensive active glasses. That’s why passive 3D TV is preferable because it usually comes with at least 4 pairs of free passive 3D glasses. Again the passive 3D glasses are comfortable, light and easy going to watch 3D movies even for longer periods.

What I mean by uncomfortable and inconvenient is the glasses itself are shaped in a way that are uncomfortable to wear and hurts after a while. Also, it causes flickering which gives me headache -_- and you need to charge the glasses which I thought was very inconvenient just to watch a movie.. you should know all these by now.

The Samsung model is good except that it uses active 3d glasses which I really don’t like. I tried the active glasses two days ago and guess what? Too much flickering and eye strain. I think polarize 3d glasses are way better off because they are lighter and do not flicker.

My household currently is using the LG LM640 and it is fantastic. Due to this model, I have been looking into LG televisions and one of the upcoming models that I got my eye on is the LG OLED.

'I'm not sure if we can get our hands on the OLED TVs by LG anytime soon. Once launched, it will be for selected few who can afford the introductory price.
