Pudsey's a mongrel so I doubt back door breeders will be trying to churn out little Pudseys. I expect Pudsey's owner has had a large influx of enquiries from the doggy ignoranus' who want to buy one of his offspring though.

Are you sure about that?

The Kennel Club are a dreadful organisation with their approval of the breeding of weird variations of particular breeds just to make them look better, which it does not and is harmful to the poor dogs. The BBC stopped showing Crufts, and good for them.

[quote=zx50;58248402]Which is why the dog's tail was curled upwards? This shows that the dog's happy.

Not true as some breeds are born with curled upwards tails.

Basenji dogs for example.

Absolutely sure about that. He's a mongrel - a mix of Border Collie, Bichon Frise and Chinese Crested to be precise.

The tail is irrelevant in this case, I think.

It was obvious to anyone that Pudsey was enjoying himself, and if he hadn't wanted to do it, he wouldn't have.

My only concern would be the amount of time spent on his back legs - could that be harmful to him? He might enjoy it but wouldn't be aware of any medical problems.

Although on second thoughts, this is Pudsey...

Did the OP complain when the other dog acts performed in previous years? I prefer to register that Ashleigh and Pudsey were a delightful act to watch. Perhaps BGT could patent a Pudsey cuddly toy and even make it move to music.
