So you go on DS and see an article that your favourite character is leaving their soap but how do you want it to happen?

Do you want them to die, maybe they have a loved one and you can't see them ever just walking out?

A Black Cab/Tube/Trami; just incase they change their mind, things don't work out, and they want to come back?

An exit to Prison, maybe the years of working in underworld have taken their toll and their personality goes under...world () Something exciting so that the character lives on long after they are gone.

Come'on and pitch your ideas

Janine - cab or prison. She's bound to slip up again, maybe try to kill Michael or something, gets caught and goes to prison, or else leaves with dignity. I hope she doesn't get killed, but I can see that happening too - I'm sure there are plenty of people who would be happy to see the back of her!

My favourites should always have the door left open for them. So a cab for them, or the tube at a pinch.

Anyone else can be killed off

I wanted shirley killed off but now im not so sure lol

If Zainab & Masood left at the same time then they should leave together for that around the world trip but if one of them leaves first then that one should die because I cannot think of a reasons that would be good enough from one of them to just leave the square without the other.

Not death or jail. They need a semi-happy/semi-ambiguous ending (but there must always be scope for return)....some of my favourites are Ryan, Sean, Stacey, Chelsea and Amira's first exits...

Walford would have to automatically crumble to the ground if one left without the other....the only ending I see for them is a happy one...

I like it when they are on their death bed in a hospital, and they can say their final good bye's and there's good lot of use of the tear stick, and then they die in their love one's arms.

ahahaha! Too true. Yeah I would like them to have a happy ending but then I remember that the characters have actors behind them who do not always think of the characters

they would have to drown, dunno why I've always found that rather tragic and a terrible way to die, and no soap ever does drowning very much.

I can imagine Nitin Ganatra leaving within the next couple of years and i think they will kill off Masood for his exit as i cant imagine them splitting up Zainab and Masood again.

Adam will stay in EE until he dies but he would need the door left open, probably go live with Michelle in USA.

Sean Tully in a box - and then a cement truck crashes at the cemetery covering his grave in concrete.

I want all of the EE cast to stay for the near future but If Dot left for good I would have a big week of old character's returning as she is dying and have her fall asleep in the Vic with all her family and friends around her, that would be a fitting ending to the character and I would love a final scene with her and Jim.

I have got one for Tracy in CS.

Basically after getting up to her usual mischief, Steve confronts her in No13 and the pair have a huge row with Steve secretly recording what she is saying so that he can prove to everybody else what she is like, however, whilst arguing, Tracy mentions how she killed Charlie and got away with it to a shocked Steve. Shortly after this, Steve returns home and replays the recording a few times whilst considering what he should do, confiding in a few other residents including the Barlows, the Platts, and Lloyd. The jury is split but Steve eventually decides not to hand in the recording and to destroy the phone for Amy's sake, however, it is too late as one of the Platts has already stolen the phone and handed it in to the police anomynaously station without Steve knowing. After Tracy finds out what has happened, she decides to flee abroad with Amy rather than spend another 12-15+ years in prison. Steve (perhaps with Ken and/or Dierdre aswell) races to the airport and manages to catch Tracy just before she goes through departures asking her not to take Amy with her but both are adamant that she is staying/going, Tracy eventually cracks under all of the pressure and has a short, tearful goodbye with her family including Amy before leaving on her own to go on the run.

Basically most villians have their comeuppance through either prison or death although I do not want to do this with Tracy as she is such a long-running character with so much history having grown up on CS that I would find it very limiting for the character that way. Also Tracy would never leave without Amy but I would not want Steve to lose her either so this is the best way I can think of having her leave when she eventually does.


So what do you think?

That sounds fitting for Tracy as she isn't one to go down without a fit although I hope she would also get some home truths from some characters before she leaves. Just seen you post count Welcome to the forums

This for Zainab and Masood, definitely And I'd like something similar for Chryed perhaps, too. I wouldn't mind if they left after they have their wedding...or maybe moved to be closer to Yasmin.

That would be amazing. When Dot eventually dies the writers have to come up with something special and memorable because she's an EE institution.

The Brannings need to go. Perhaps a helicopter lands on their house??

Hopefully, if June is still around then on EE's 30th anniversary.

If one EE legend dies on the 20th anniversary and another on the 25th, I'm sure one can go on the 30th

Oh, I don't know, my favorite is Carla, I'd want the door to be left open for her return but I reckon she deserves a big exit! Knowing her she'll probably run off to LA!
