Sheffield Motorpoint Arena
Hi everyone
How easy is to get to and from Sheffield Motorpoint Arena from the North East (Darlington/Middlesbrough) area. I am looking at going to a show there but it'll need to be by train or bus. Anyone else been here? |

Dead easy getting there, regular trains from Darlington - Sheffield then tram from Sheffield, the arena has its own tram stop. Might be a bit harder getting back tough depending what time your show finishes, last train back to Darlington is around half 10

I live in Sheffield and once you get into Sheffield itself transportation is fine- you have trams to the Motorpoint regularly and taxis are very cheap compared to other cities.

It's very close, it's about 2/3 tramstops away. Only a couple of minutes by car, it's the closest train station you'll get to it.

Yes, they actually organise many trams for when the event finishes, you will see people queuing for them, one for City Centre and the other one for Meadowhall.
