Really? He really said that? He admitted that he and his colleagues were selling 18 rated games to children?

Oh I so wish the laws on this were much stricter!

When I was younger I wasn't drawn to games aimed at older people; I played Mario, zelda, star fox, final fantasy etc

The only game series that would have any call for concern was Command and Conquer; started into that at around 10-11 merely because my older brother at the time loved the series. That's how call of duty is working though; others play it because their friends do; it's "fashionable".

I believe the accusations of these nurses are perfectly reasonable!

I believe video games are the source of all violence, just like I think gays are the cause of global warming and the only Goldeneye should be that of God's

But you dispute that it was effective? Even though he said it was.

Just because one man said it was effective, doesn't make it so.

Games definitely improve hand eye co-ordination, I'll give him that. So does sport though so he could've done a majority of things to "train" himself in those terms.

I just don't believe playing a first person shooter game has any relevance to real world conditions, just like i don't believe playing violent video games causes your child to become a homicidal maniac.

Would they ban archery if someone went on a rampage with a bow and arrow?

How about banning the shot-put if someone starts throwing grenades at people?

Surely they should ban running or exercise in general as improving cardiovascular fitness helps criminals outrun the police!

Surely he could have come to that conclusion from the amount of clueless adults with kids in tow buying the game rather then actually selling the game to kids themselves.
